Abstract: Sedentary behaviour is strongly predictive of type 2 diabetes.Western population have high rates of sedentary behaviour and low levels of participation in physical activity (PA) combined with high rates of diagnosed and undiagnosed type 2 diabetes. The study was aimed for comparison of different physical activity levels and intensity on the basis of oral glucose response. Samples were collected from Yamuna sports complex, Karkardooma and Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies. Purposive sampling was done to collect the sample size of 45 subject. The subjects were categorized into 3 categories based on their physical level activity and intensity- 10 samples in low.........

Abstract: This study aims to find out immediate effects of therapeutic laser and stretching versus dry needling and stretching on pain and cervical lateral flexion ROM in subjects with myofascial trigger point in upper trapezius muscle. Study was conducted on 30 patients which were divided into 2 groups, 15 patients in each group. Patient aged 18-50 years were included in the study. Cervical lateral flexion ROM, pressure pain threshold and NPRS was assessed.Analysis using paired t test found that there is a statistically extremely significant improvement in ROM, pain intensity and threshold in group A whereas statistically significant improvement in pain threshold and NPRS for group B; except for ROM which showed extreme statistical improvement. Analysis using unpaired t test found that there is no statistical difference in improving ROM and pressure pain threshold except for NPRS which was statistically significant between group A and B.This study concludes that both the techniques are equally effective in decreasing pain and improving cervical ROM in subjects with upper trapezius trigger point. Clinically more improvement was seen in group B as compared to group A.

|Authors||:||Chandrashekara. H N|
Abstract: A better understanding of Health related fitness and academic achievement may facilitate the development of more targeted sports activity interventions. Few studies have analyzed the rates and correlates of physical activity and academic achievement in economically and geographically diverse populations. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the relationship of health related fitness and academic achievement of high school girls in Hunsur Taluk. So this investigation is an attempt to explore these issues to shed more light on this area and to help further the knowledge base. The study was delimited to sixty (n=60) the students studying in High schools of Hunsur Taluk during..........

|Authors||:||Leyla Alizadeh Ebadi || Mehmet Günay|
Abstract: This study involved table tennis players who joined Turkish Championship in Ankara. The study attempts to identify the knowledge level 117 table tennis players (57 males and 60 females), who are between 13 and 42 years old, have concerning injuries, and to reveal differences according to some variables. A questionnaire was administered in order to find out their level of knowledge on the injuries they experience and their knowledge on how to avoid injuries. The mean age of the participants were calculated to be 24.5±2.81. The analysis of the research data was carried out on computer using SPSS 19 software, and T-test was applied for two samples. The frequency variables were calculated...........
