Abstract: The only part of a vehicle which is not getting automated is tyres. From the studies it is known that a slight drop in pressure, will affect the tyre wear, safety, gas mileage and whole vehicle performance. To neglect the unwanted stress and waste of time for inflating the tyres, this (Automatic Air Inflation) system is designed. This system states that the tyres are optimally inflated at all running conditions. Whenever the pressure is reduced below the mentioned or set level the sensor senses and displays it on the screen (LCD). Because of this the driver gets notified and makes him alert of lower pressure in tyres. There is a centralized compressor which is connected to the four tyres..............

Abstract: Sorting of products in an industry is a tedious industrial process, which is generally carried out manually. Continuous manual sorting creates quality consistency issues. Segregation based on different characteristics like weight, colour, type require different equipment for weighing and then separating. We have proposed an efficient method which uses load cell, inductive sensor and TCS 230 colour sensor for identifying and segregating on the basis of weight, colour and type (metal or non-metal) of object and Siemens 300 Series PLC to control the overall process of sorting two types of objects..............

Abstract: This paper deals with the mechanisms used in wet tissue pouch packing machine for reel mounting process. This mainly includes the splicing mechanism and use of adhesives for achieving zero downtime in order to reduce the time required for reel change, calculation of tearing force of the tissue using a spring balance, the selection of a spool holder on which the roll is placed, overcoming the fluctuations caused due to non-eccentricity of roll and brake considerations for maintaining proper tension taking into account the changing diameter of feed roll with respect to time and use of sensors for job presence. It also includes calculation of a suitable motor input speed considering the variation in the diameter of the roll. The installation of accumulator to supply required tissue at a constant rate is also explained below.

Abstract: Suspension system is the necessary part in the automobile vehicle. Suspension system provide comfort ride to the passengers. Suspension systems have been widely applied to vehicles, from the horse-drawn carriage with flexible leaf springs fixed in the four corners, to the modern automobile with complex control algorithms. The suspension of a road vehicle is usually designed with two objectives to isolate the vehicle body from road irregularities and to maintain contact of the wheels with the roadway. The suspension link allows wheels to rise and fall on their own without affecting the opposite wheel..............

Abstract: In industries it is required to assemble the structures like pressure vessel on overhead positions. This process needs lifting devices to reach up to working location. To assemble such structures, various joining operations need to be performed such as welding in overhead position. This work includes the redesign of existing lifting platform system with tilting joint so that the operations can be performed easily and more efficiently. In short the square shaped platform changed with semicircular shape platform and accordingly changing parameters are validated. Solution to cover more radial distance for operation on pressure vessels outer surface with load calculations and boundary conditions also working of tilting arm is validated with stresses and deflection coming on titling joints. Also structural behavioral results are compared and validated

Abstract: One of the most intriguing tasks for modern day car designers is to meet the latest standards and norms for optimum ride comfort and road holding prevailing across the globe. The parameters influencing the performance are closely related with each other, such that this complex multi-variable optimization is difficult to achieve. The present work aims at analyzing and comparing the linear and non-linear characteristics of a spring under a wide range of operating conditions. A Multi-DOF quarter car model has been proposed to study the cause-effect relationship using MATLAB SIMULINK............

Abstract: Bending machine is used to bend a metal sheet, plate and pipe. The aim of this project is to develop a portable metal bending machine. This machine is used to bend sheets into curve and the other curvature shapes. The size of machine is very small as compare to other machines. And it is convenient for portable work. It is fully made by MS. And it is theeasy to be carry and use at any time and any place. It eases human effort and no required skill workers to operate the machine. We are developing manually operated metal bending machine with use of metal shaft, hydraulic bottle jack, pedestal bearing and support (frame). This machine works on simple kinematic system instead of complicated design...............

Abstract: One of the major drawbacks of IC engines is low efficiency and pollution resulting from incomplete combustion. In order to improve the emission properties and performance an additive is blended with gasoline. The main objective of this paper was preparation of premium gasoline. Through the study of literature survey, effect of different additives has been studied, it is found that different additive had some negative effect when used individually which conclude that there is need for new composite additives having better performance in respect of engine performance and emission control.

Abstract: Thermal insulation in the very beginning were made from materials available in nature which mostly included animal shin, wool, flax or straw, etc. The drawback of these materials was that their lifespan was limited because of which artificial materials for insulation came into picture. With regard to the requirements of current environmental condition it is necessary in the construction and reconstruction of existing buildings to implement effective measures for reducing their energy consumption. In actual it is virtually important to get all new building, old buildings with almost zero energy consumption. From the perspective of sustainable development and environmental concern................

Abstract: Energy is a crucial input in the process of economic, social and industrial development .Besides the other three classical factors i.e. land, capital and labour, energy is of vital importance in the context of development. The energy demand is expected to triple before 2025. With the increasing per capita power consumption the depletion of conventional resources, an increase in the cost of power production and environmental pollution are emerging problems of concern. Seeking alternate resources and technologies will be solutions to these problems to a great extent. The conventional solar collectors are a costly affair; need space for installation and regular maintenance................

Abstract: Biodiesel is an alternative to conventional diesel fuel made from renewable resources, such as non-edible vegetable oils. The oil from seeds (e.g., Jatropha and Pongamia) can be converted to a fuel commonly referred to as "Biodiesel." No engine modifications are required to use biodiesel in place of petroleum-based diesel. Biodiesel can be mixed with petroleum-based diesel in any proportion. This interest is based on a number of properties of biodiesel including the fact that it is produced from a renewable domestic source, its biodegradability, and its potential to reduce exhaust emissions. The climate change is presently an important element of energy use and development................
