Abstract: Leadership behavior affects nurses' performance and satisfaction especially in high stressful environment such as the pediatric hospitals. Aim: The study aimed to assess the leadership behaviors as perceived by pediatric nurses and its effect on their satisfaction and performance. Methods: A descriptive correlational design is utilized for the current study, the study carried out in three settings Cairo University Specialized Pediatric Hospital, Egypt, Hail general hospital, and King Khalid general hospital, Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Non-probability sampling; a purposeful sample of 126 nurses who fulfill the inclusion criteria. Three study tools were used to collect the study data Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire, Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire short form, and clinical performance rating scale, ethical considerations were ensured.............

Abstract: This study aimed to evaluate utilization health belief model to enhance the preventive health behavior about osteoporosis among young-adult females. Abstract: Knee osteoarthritis is accepted as a major public health concern. It is one of the foremost causes of chronic disability in older adults worldwide. Objective: To investigate the relationship between pain intensity, body mass index and psychological status among geriatric patients with knee osteoarthritis. Abstract: In order to offer better medical care to children suffering from chronic diseases, the authorities of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) have mooted a proposal to set up District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) in all districts of the state UP. Officials claimed that children with chronic diseases being detected during the health check up camps by medical teams under Ashirwad scheme of NRHM would be entitled to all sorts of medical facility including treatment diagnosis tests. The focal point for the delivery of integrated child development service is the Anganwadi worker within the village, assume the vital role with her close contact with the community and she act as a liaison between the village population and the government administration. Abstract: Background and Aims: The measurement of waist circumference (wc) has been considered an important tool for identifying children at risk of metabolic and cardiovascular complications. To evaluate the relationship between WC and lipid and glucose metabolism. Methods and Results: Cross-sectional study performed with a population-based sample of 588 children. Abdominal obesity was defined as WC above 90 percentile. The biochemical parameters evaluated were the serum levels involved in lipid and glucose metabolism. Abstract: Disasters pose unique challenge for every medical care facility in terms of infrastructure, capacity, and preparedness. World Health Organization stresses that healthcare workers need to be prepared for a disaster. As nurses are the largest manpower group in the health care team they need to be trained to equip with the competencies required during disasters to rescue life and safeguard the health of the children. Abstract: Improving the diet of children in the context of improving the nutritional status is a very important thing done by the parents (mothers). Methods of management and the provision of food at home by the mother is crucial to support health in infants. This study used a pre-experimental design (one pre and post test design). Intervention programs on parenting fed to mothers of children under five years in the village of South Sangata Sangkima District of East Kutai Regency. Data analysis used t-test and descriptive analysis method. Mother has a good knowledge of nutrition 45%, being 50% and less than 5%. Understanding of the signs of child undernourishment were answered correctly by only 35%. Mothers who give parenting practice good eating by 30%, being 30% and less than 40%...............

Abstract: Routine immunization coverage in the developing world is as low as 60% compared to the developed world where it way above 80%. This has caused deaths among children and even left others with permanent disability. This A descriptive cross sectional study was conducted in Mukurweni and Tetu Sub counties, Nyeri County, Kenya to determine factors influencing routine immunization coverage among children. The study revealed that there was a moderate coverage in Mukurweini and high coverage in Tetu Division. The higher number of immunized children in both divisions was in the age bracket of 1 – 4 months (88.7%) and reducing to 0.05% during 12 months of children's age................
