Abstract: The study attempts to evaluate the effect of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding effects of passive smoking in children among smoking parents with the objectives to assess the existing level of knowledge among smoking parents, compare the difference between pre- test and post-test knowledge scores of smoking parents and find out the association between the level of knowledge with selected socio-personnel variables and compare the difference between various areas of knowledge scores. The study was carried out in selected areas of AnjarakandyGramapanchayat, Kannur district, Kerala. The sample comprised of 100 smoking parents selected by simple random sampling technique after identification of smoking parents through survey method. Data was collected by administering survey format and structured knowledge questionnaire with the help of structured teaching programme.............

Abstract: Introduction: School children are emerging as creative persons who are preparing for their future role in society. It's the time of new achievement and craze of new experiences in their life. So the parents must understand the normal behavior of the child. Each Child needs and preferences should be respected by their parents. Children spend much time in school as well as at home, therefore teachers and parents are responsible to detect any child which is deviated from the normal behavior and needs concern. Objectives: The objectives of the study were to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding IMBP in primary school children among teachers and to find out the association between the knowledge score of primary school teachers and selected demographic variable. Methodology and results: Quasi experimental one group pre-test post-test design was conducted in selected primary schools of Doiwala, Uttarakhand. Abstract: Aging is a series of processes that begin with life and continue throughout the life cycle. As persons grow older, they are encountered various physical, psychological and social role changes that challenge their sense of self and ability to live happily. Depression is considered to be the main difficulty leading to emotional imbalance and impaired quality of life among elderly individuals. The study aims to find out the prevalence of levels of depressive symptoms among elderly in nursing homes of Baghdad city; and to explore any relationship between levels of depressive symptoms and some socio-demographic characteristics of elderly. A descriptive study was conducted from May 9th, 2016 to the August 8th, 2016 upon a non-probability sample of 52 elderly who live currently in two nursing homes of Baghdad city; 32 elderly individuals were recruited from Al-Rashad nursing home and other 20 from Al-Salakh nursing home.............

Abstract: pin external infection is the most common health problem of nosocomial infection of patients their suffers from exogenous or endogenous symptoms of pin fixation infection. While pin skeletal fixation was considered a surgical treatment technique for orthopaedic patient to treat fracture bone which occur result direct internal trauma or external trauma in orthopaedic ward .But in sufficient orthopaedic nursing care of external pin track lead to infection occur around pin hole and transmission of microbes to the bone causing ununion bone site fracture ,loosen of rigid pin, abscess, sever painful and osteomyelitis. Abstract: Background: Professional identity is a concept that attracted a great deal of attention at work place for better understanding of employees' attitudes and work related outcomes. It helps staff nurses to persist in their job and profession for long period. Both professional identity and turnover intention are highly related to staff nurses work life. Abstract: Objectives: Identify the actions of the Family Health Strategy Program regarding violence inflicted on women and describe the influencing aspects of these actions using the National Policy of Combating Violence against Women as reference. Methods: Narrative review of literature. Data collected at the BDENF and LILACS databases. Ten papers were selected for analysis from the period 2013 to 2016. Results: As to the identification of the actions of the Family Health Strategy Program, 70% of the studies observed the importance of the link between professionals and users; 60% of articles show established bond through dialogic listening; 10% report that this bond depends on the reception given to women in situations of violence................

Abstract: Background: This is a systematic review of studies on the prevalence and risk factors of knee osteoarthritis more than four years following anterior cruciate ligament tear. Methods: A systematic search was performed in PubMed, EMBASE and AMED. Inclusion criteria were studies involving patients with isolated anterior cruciate ligament injury or combined with other knee meniscal or ligaments injuries treated by operative or non- operative methods and assessed by radiological clinical evaluation tools and radiological classification systems.
