Abstract: Falls are the most common adverse event among intensive care units patients, directly contributing to human pain and distress and increased health care costs. Complications associated with falls among ICUs patients can result in death, disability, psychological distress, and increased hospital length of stay. Yet, falls continue to be a serious safety threat, especially for acutely ill, hospitalized patients. Aim: the aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of nurses' guideline on performance of nurses regarding prevention of patients' fall in intensive care units. Study design: a quasi experimental study; Subject: all available nurses caring for patients were recruited from neurological intensive care units and medicine intensive care units at Ain Shams University Hospital. Tool: consisted of self administered........

Abstract: Introduction: Vitamin B9 (folic acid and folate) is essential to numerous bodily functions. Folic acid (FA) is a B-complex vitamin that can't be formed by the body, so its administration in food is required (Rehan M.,2015). The human body needs folate to synthesize, repair, and methylate Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) as well as to act as a cofactor in certain biological reactions. It is especially important in aiding rapid cell division and growth, such as in infancy and pregnancy. Aim: The aims of this study were to evaluate the effect of health educational program on pregnant women' knowledgeabout use of folic acid supplementation..........
