Abstract: The main subjective of this study to clarify the variation of yarn strength due to the interrelationship among cotton fiber properties. The materials were used four lint grades i.e. Fully Good (FG), Good (G), Fully Good Fair (FGF) and Good Fair (GF) for four Egyptian cotton verities, i., e. extra long staple (G 92 and G 93) and long staple (G 86 and G 95) at Cotton Research institute (CRI), Agricultural Research Center (ARC), Giza, Egypt. Results of ordinary correlation almost tends to misleading values of correlation coefficients due to the multicollinearity among large numbers of cotton fiber properties. Where the presence of large multidimensional, the confidence interval of the coefficients tends to become very wide and the statistics tend to be inaccurate............

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of manufacturing processes used in the development of cellular polymers for a wide variety of applications. The combination of intrinsic properties of polymers and foam is considered as an attractive solution in many applications. With regard to the long-standing interest of the industry in cellular polymeric chemistry, foaming is very common from hydro salivation /condensation reactions. This well-known technology leads to homogeneous, elastic, low density and biocompatible foams. Abstract: A lot of interesting advancements have been witnessed within the last two decades in the clothing and textile industry. In this review, different methods of textile finishing are hereby explained. Whereas the conventional methods of finishing including wet and dry finishing techniques are still being practiced on cotton and woolen fabrics, advanced textile finishing techniques may include functionalization using nano-coatings, surface modification using hydrolyzable silanes, enzymes, microencapsulation, and the strengthening of synthetic fibres with nano-coatings and nano-clays, to mention but a few. These techniques induce different textures and performance characteristics onto the textile materials, making them textile materials for the future, otherwise "futuristic" textiles from apparels and garments to technical textiles that respond effectively to changes within the environment and human body. This would make it possible for futuristic textiles to be widely applied in a variety of situations and environments.
