Abstract: BACKGROUND: Moderate physical activity during pregnancy confers many health benefits like decreasing the incidence of PIH, back pain, constipation, leg pain, etc. but it is found to be associated with low birth weight in many studies. On the other hand, meditation during pregnancy has been found to have positive effects like decreasing stress and anxiety, promoting sound sleep and also found to decrease the risk of preterm and low birth weight babies. OBJECTIVES: to look for the effect of moderate physical activity and meditation on fetal and maternal health METHOD: The study was conducted in one of the busiest hospitals of Jorhat, Assam. It was a hospital based case-control observational study. Pregnant women who walked for 30 minutes per day and meditated for 15 minutes per day for at least 5 days per week apart from normal household activities were enrolled as cases and those who did not were enrolled as controls......

Abstract: The task and ego goal orientation are important goal orientation perspectives. South Asian Games is the mini Olympic games in the South Asian sub-continent and track and field athletics sport is the most successful sport of Sri Lanka at the South Asian Games. However, Sri Lankan athletes topped the gold medal tally only twice in 1991 and 2019 in South Asian Games history. The present study was aimed to investigate the level of the task and ego goal orientation of gold medal-winning track and field athletes of Sri Lanka at 13th South Asian Games in 2019 and to assess any differences of sex towards the goal orientation of athletes. Abstract: Background: The social context within which sport is practiced engenders both motivators and challenges for young athletes, which should neither be underestimated nor ignored for effective sport talent development. This study examined the motivators and challenges of young athletes in pursuit of sport talent in Kenya with a view to enhance sport talent development among youths. The study answered three questions: What motivates young athletes in Kenya to pursue sport talent? What challenges do young athletes pursuing sport talent in Kenya face? Abstract: The stress of unemployed students of physical education was measured by self developed opinionnaire. All the statement was scored on the five point (5) scale. All the items were given a score of 5 for strongly agree, 4 for agree, 3 for undecided, 2 for disagree and 1 for strongly disagree. The sum of these scores gives the attitude score for the subject. The total score varies from showing positive/ negative stress and problems facing by trained unemployed students of physical education of District Srinagar. Abstract:Background: The Supervised Curricular Internship (SCI) has an epistemological status that is indispensable for teacher training to the point of adding to the student the practical experience necessary for their professional development. In this context, it is evident that the supervising teachers of the school have a fundamental role for the physical education (PE) trainee regarding their insertion and adaptation to this period of academic training. Abstract: Dribbling in football is one of the basic techniques that football players must have. To support this technique, football players must be equipped with the ability to be physically fit. Based on a theoretical study, eye-foot coordination is an important aspect in supporting the skills of dribbling the Aceh Talent Football School (SSB) Player. This study aims to determine the relationship between eye-foot coordination and the dribbling ability of the "Talenta Aceh" Football school player. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlational research type. The sample of this study was the player of "Talenta Aceh" Football school, totaling 41 athletes.
