Abstract: More and more data are being produced by an increasing number of electronic devices surrounding us and on the internet. The amount of data and the frequency at which they are produced are so vast that they are usually referred to as "BIG Data". "Big Data" is the term that describes the large volume of data – both structured and unstructured. This paper discusses the sources and Characteristics of Big Data and the importance of it. Big Data can be analyzed for insights that lead to better decision and strategic business moves.

Abstract: Big data is a term defining collection of large datasets. Abstract: In cloud computing huge amount of private data stored on a main cloud. There is a need of efficient and effective data recovery techniques. The purpose of recovery technique is to collect information from any back up server when the server fails to provide data to the server. This paper gives the overview of the smart data back up algorithm called seed block algorithm (SBA). The objective of SBA is to recover the files in case of cloud get destroyed or files may be deleted from the cloud.

Abstract: The Workflow Scheduling directs in the area of workflow management systems. The efficient Scheduling in workflows helps the system to increase cost, which can be evaluation by considering various clustering methods, which is been studied in this paper. A number of parameters are there on the basis of which performance of cost is dependent and is evaluated and compared to find the efficient of workflow scheduling algorithm also. The key consideration in the paper determines the openness of various task clustering methods in cloud environment and based on detail experimentation results are drawn to evaluate the importance of methods suited with scheduling policy.

Abstract: The Apriori algorithm is a popular and a classical algorithm in data mining. The main idea of this approach is to find a useful pattern in various sets of data.
