Title | : | LCD Motion Blur Reduced Using Subgradient Projection Algorithm |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | W.Stanley Karunakaran || P.Karthick |
Abstract: Liquid crystal display (LCD) devices are well known for their slow responses due to the physical limitations of liquid Crystals. Therefore, fast moving objects in a scene are often perceived as blurred. This effect is known as the LCD motion blur. In order to reduce LCD motion blur, an accurate LCD model and an efficient de blurring algorithm are needed. There are three main contributions of this paper: modeling, analysis, and algorithm. First, a comprehensive LCD motion blur model is presented, in which human-eye-tracking limits are taken into consideration. Second, a complete analysis of spatiotemporal equivalence is provided and verified using real video sequences. Third, an LCD motion blur reduction algorithm is proposed.

Title | : | Low Power Exact Computation for FPGA Based On Memoization Technique |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | S.Sathya || R.Poomurugan |
Abstract: Memoization is a fundamental technique in computer science, providing the basis for dynamic programming. This paper goes on to explore the idea of memoization, in which values are aggressively reused from the cache even in the process of computing a value to store in the cache. It studies memoization on FPGA and analyzes different architectural and design parameters that should be considered.In this paper I take image multiplication to prove the process held at minimum time period with small area.The proposed design flow leverages on memo table to enable memoization-based microarchitecture generation................

Title | : | Design Of Efficient BCD Adders In Quantum Dot Cellular Automata |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | A.Hemalatha || M.Kamalanathan |
Abstract: Among the emerging technologies recently proposed as alternatives to the classic CMOS, Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) is one of the most promising solutions to design ultra low-power and very high speed digital circuits. Efficient QCA-based implementations have been demonstrated for several binary and decimal arithmetic circuits, but significant improvements are still possible if the logic gates inherently available within the QCA technology............

Title | : | Design Of High Performance Scs-Based Montgomery Multiplier |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | S.Ramya || S.Sangeetha || A.Veena BakkyaLakshmi || B.Zeenathul Asma || Mr.P.Muralikrishnan |
Abstract: A simple and efficient multiplication algorithm for the low-cost and high-performance Montgomery modular multiplier can be implemented accordingly. The proposed multiplier uses one-level carry-save adder (CSA) to avoid the carry propagation at each addition operation, leading to a low hardware cost and short critical path delay at the expense of extra clock cycles for completing one modular multiplication. To overcome the drawback, a configurable CSA (CCSA), which could be one full-adder or two serial half-adders, is proposed to reduce the extra clock cycles by half. In the proposed architecture, the column and row-bypassing multipliers examine the number of zeros in either the multiplicand or multiplicator to predict whether the operation requires one cycle or two cycles to complete. As a result, the extra clock cycle can be hidden and high throughput can be obtained.

Abstract: In mobile and wireless application Wilkinson Power divider and Combiner is used to split or combine the power for supporting different devices with same or different band of frequencies. It is a passive device used in the field of radio technology to couple a defined amount of the electromagnetic power in a transmission line from one port to another port. Wilkinson power divider uses the micro strip technology, Coupled Line technology, coupled line technique and strip line technique. This paper proposes a design and comparison of 3dB Wilkinson power divider to split the power equally at the outputs by using micro strip technique and Coupled Line technique. It is planned to design a Wilkinson power dividers for mobile applications which has the operating frequency of 915MHz. Wilkinson power divider is simulated using a simulation tool advanced design system (ADS).

Title | : | Cognitive Radio Technology using Multi Armed Bandit Access Scheme in WSN |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | A.Sangeetha || S.Uma || A.punitha || C.Suganya || Ms.J.Roselin Suganthi |
Abstract: A major challenge in CR-WSN is utilizing spectrum more efficiently. Therefore, a novel channel access scheme is proposed for the problem that how to access the multiple channels with the unknown environment information for cognitive users, so as to maximize system throughput. In order to solve the competition and the fairness between cognitive users of WSNs, a fair channel-grouping scheme is proposed. The proposed scheme divides these channels into M groups according to the water filling principle based on the learning algorithm UCB-K index. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme cannot only effectively solve the problem of collision between the cognitive users, improve the utilization rate of the idle spectrum, and at the same time reflect the fairness of selecting channels between cognitive users.

Abstract: The project proposes an automatic support system for stage classification using artificial neural network for brain tumor and epilepsy detection for medical application. The detection of the brain tumor is a challenging problem, due to the structure of the tumor cells.The artificial neural network will be used to classify the stage of brain EEG signal that is tumor case or epilepsy case or normal. The manual analysis of the signal is time consuming, inaccurate and requires intensive trained person to avoid diagnostic errors. Back Propagation Network with image and data processing techniques was employed to implement an automated Brain Tumor classification.............

Title | : | Image Restoration Using Sparse Dictionary Matrix Learning K-SVD Algorithm |

Abstract: The purpose of image restoration is to "compensate for" or "undo" defects which degrade an image. Degradation comes in many forms such as motion blur, noise, and camera miss focus. In cases like motion blur, it is possible to come up with a very good estimate of the actual blurring function and "undo" the blur to restore the original image. In cases where the image is corrupted by noise, the best we may hope to do is to compensate for the degradation it caused. In this project, we will introduce and implement several of the methods used in the image processing world to restore image dictionary learning algorithm

Title | : | A Fast Panorama Stitching Method of Image Sequence |

Authors | : | A.Jenitta || G.Abinandhini || M.Geerthanadevi || M.Latha |
Abstract: An image stitching application panorama gives serious distortion when compositing a long image sequence. To overcome the distortion, improved algorithm is proposed in this paper, including altering the way of selecting the reference image and putting forward a method that can compute the transformation matrix for any image of the sequence to align with the reference image in the same coordinate space. Additionally, the improved stitching method dynamically selects the next input image based on the number of SIFT matching points. Compared with the traditional stitching process, the improved method increases the number of matching feature points and reduces SIFT feature detection area of the reference image. The experimental results show that the improved method can not only accelerate the efficiency of image stitching processing, but also reduce the panoramic distortion errors, and finally we can obtain a pleasing panoramic result.

Authors | : | S.Rajalakshmi || L.Shahina || B.Sharmila || P.Karthick |
Abstract: Ration card now a days is essential for every home and are used for various field such as getting gas connection, it act as address proof for various purposes etc. All the people having a ration card can buy various materials (rice, kerosene, etc) from the ration shops. But in this system there are two draw backs, first one is weight of the material may be inaccurate due to human mistakes and secondly, if the materials are not bought at the end of the month, they will sell it to others without any intimation to the government for their own benefit. We propose an automatic ration materials distribution based on GSM (global system for mobile) and RFID (radio frequency identification) technology instead of ration cards...............
