Abstract: After the advent of demonetization of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 currencies announced by the Central Government, on 8th November 2016, people are yet to recover from overnight shocks in many places. It has created diverse opinions in the minds of the people. The reactions and the impact of demonetization have yet to settle down in India and it varies from place to place and state to state. Nearly four weeks have gone and still quam and quandaries continue in ATMs, and banks. Though the government has explained the positive impact of demonetization in the context of economic reforms and the growth and development of the country, it hardly gets full recognition from different walks of people all over the country............

Even though years passed after independence their condition is still very pathetic in every corner of the country. They are forced to leave their natural habitat and their unique culture. It resulted in an anarchyamong their life. They are found incompetent in the civilized society and shows poor academic performance. This study take an attempt to understand the academic performance and the academic achievement motivation among the tribal children with special reference to Kannur district of Kerala.

Abstract: In the field of research there has been a growing focus on the children of alcoholics particularly in the West, seeking to understand the overall harms of alcoholism particularly parental alcoholism. In India this awareness is still very little. This study investigated the prospects and problems in this area of research, basing itself on some selected research studies both in the West and in India, and for that reason it is not an exhaustive attempt. The study revealed that the West has particularly advanced in establishing methods for assessing quite accurately alcohol related harms both to the user and the others............

HIV infection being a major health challenge in our country, it is important to understand the risk factors and other challenges the discordant couples face. The study reveals that majority of the respondents did not face any discrimination from their family members or from their spouse. The HIV status has not affected their social or family life. This seems to be the major achievements of the HIV management activities in India. This provides them a confidence in disclosing their HIV status to the spouse, family members, and the public.............

Abstract: This descriptive study on quality of life among the women entrepreneurs was conducted among the women entrepreneurs who are married. The universe of the study consists of women entrepreneurs who are also members of women self help groups in Thiruverumbur block , Trichy. The study was conducted with 100 women entrepreneurs by using convenient sampling method. It is concluded from the findings of the study that majority of the respondents have better quality of life. Hence it is clear that the women entrepreneurs are treating equally their economic activity as well as their family........
