Title | : | Review On Adsorption Refrigeration System |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | B. K. Manmode || B.B. Aher |
Abstract: "Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed"- first law of thermodynamics. the energy potential of the world is constant , so we have to save the energy as much as possible .as the refrigeration is needed everywhere in the world and it is the major user of energy. The energy that could be used for the adsorption refrigeration is powered by low grade heat. the low grade heat can be obtain from industrial waste heat, exhaust gases from the engines or heat from solar thermal collector. Moreover it uses environment kindly refrigerants and avoids the global warming and ozone depletion.

Title | : | A Review On Power Generation Methods Using Concentrating Solar Power |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | o. M. Kshirsagar || p. V. Puri || s. S. Kale || y. S. Khairnar |
Abstract: Concentrating solar power (CSP) is a renewable generation technology that uses mirrors or lenses
to concentrate the sun's rays to heat a fluid, e.g., water, which produces steam to drive turbines. CSP differs
from solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, which directly converts the sun's ultraviolet radiation to electricity
using semiconductors. The CSP technologies discussed here are utility scale.
Because no input fuel is required, CSP plants release little or no carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions.
CSP is a proven technology with more than 350 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity operating commercially
in the Mojave desert since the 1980s and several smaller new plants brought on line since 2006. The current
worldwide installed capacity is more than 500 MW, relying mostly on the established line-focusing parabolic
trough technology that provides peak demand generation..........

Title | : | Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis of Cutting Operation of Needle for Roller Bearing |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Gajanan S. Sawadadkar || Pavan V. Puri |
Abstract: In this Paper, the needle cutting process is considered the mapping process customer requirements and product functions. Customer requirements are considered as the input information indicating the needs of customers, and they are usually obtained and organized in a marketing department through the market research activity. Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) is a process improvement tool to analyze and control the potential impacts from failures. Through the practice of FMEA, it is expected to anticipate the possible failures from a product or system after it is actually implemented. In such a way, engineers can improve the process by deliberately controlling the causes of failures or limiting their negative effects

Authors | : | Chandrashekhar.P.Satav || Pranit.D.Bhopate || Ravikant.S.Khandait || Akshay.V.Bhosale || Mukesh.G.Chitupe |
Abstract:Viscous pressure forming (VPF) offers a multipurpose approach to low volume stamping of difficultto- form sheet metal alloys. The process imposes the use of a highly viscous pressurised medium as a forming tool. Compared with solid metal punch forming, the necking in the sheet metal can hold up in the VPF process. The viscosity of the viscous medium keeps constant in Viscous Pressure forming. In the VPF process using a viscous material can also be used in the Hydroforming process and offers the advantages of improved sealing to reduce leakage.The viscosity maintained most important role in the viscous pressure forming process..........

Authors | : | Y.B Shendge || Santosh Kumar Yadav || Akshay T Jagtap || Nikhil P Sawant || Shrishail M Swami |
Abstract:Prosthesis is an artificial device that replaces a missing body part, which may be lost through trauma, disease or congenital condition. Prosthetics are intended to restore the normal function of the missing body part. The current canine prosthesis market is catered towards dogs with amputations and is very expensive because of the small number of products available. Due to the variations in limb deformities, there is yet to be a customizable solution. Most of the products available are targeted towards the walking aid but there are only few products which are focused towards rehabilitation and and recovery. There is a need to design a simple products which can be a comfortable walking aid as well as a good recovery aid. There are good chances that a dog will be healed in a case of paralysis so the walking aid should have the facility to help him recover fast.
