Authors | : | P.V. Londhe || Dr. S.S.Chavan || Samiksha Bansode || Ajay Devrukhkar |
Abstract:Recently, nanotechnology as novel interdisciplinary sciences has been introduced among all fields and gets numerous attentions, due to its unique applications. The electro spinning technique provides nonwovens to the order of few nanometres with large surface areas, ease of functionalisation for various purposes and superior mechanical properties. Also, the possibility of large scale productions combined with the simplicity of the process makes this technique very attractive for many different applications. Electrospinning is a versatile technique that has gained popularity for various biomedical applications in recent years. Electro spun materials have the benefits of unique properties for instance; high surface area to volume ratio, enhanced cellular interactions, and protein absorption to facilitate binding sites for cell receptors. Electrospinning is being used for fabricating nanofibers for various biomedical wound healing, scaffolds, filtration and protective material, electrical and optical applications, sensors etc.

Abstract:This Paper Accessible About Failure Of Drive Shaft In Conventional Passenger Vehicles. Alto Car Front Wheel Drive Shaft Was Chosen As The Sample Of This Analysis. This Paper Deals With Analysis Of Von- Mises Stress Was Done Using Finite Element Method. The Solid Model Of The Drive Shaft Was Constructed Using CATIA Software. Steel (SM45C) Material Was Selected For The Analysis Of Shaft. Tetrahedral Type Of Meshing With Minimum Element Size Of 4mm Was Used For The Analysis. The Boundary Conditions Were Applied At The Bearing And Geared Location Of Front Wheel Drive Shaft And Von-Mises Stresses Were Found. The Similar Analysis Was Done For Glass Fiber Material And Results Were Compared With That Of Steel (SM45C). The Comparison Has Shown Increased Stress And Deformation For Glass Fiber Material Under Same Loading Conditions. The Result Of Comparison Indicated That For Obtaining Required Weight Optimization Of Front Wheel Drive Shaft Without Strength Loss, Composite Reinforcement Should Be Used.

Title | : | Design Optimization of Bicycle Crank through FEA Analysis |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Rohit More || A. M. Badadhe || A. S. Patil |
Abstract: Bicycle is a one of most economical and popular transport mechanism in world. However Paddle crank failure was identified as a most critical failure point of bicycle. The bicycle crank is subjected to loads like weight of cycle as well as the rider pedalling forces static and dynamic. So this crank should have greater stiffness and more resistant to deformation., Generally used material for crank is mild steel, but if targeting weight reduction, the crank can be iterated in topology optimization without compromising the strength and under permissible stress and deformation limits. The analysis and optimization of a bicycle pedal crank using manual calculation and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a proposed procedure in this research. This research paper help to minimize the weight of crank, cost and optimum factor of safety.

Abstract:Metals remaincomprehensively used in a erraticism of proposals in the medical field forinternal support and biological tissue exchanges, such as joint replacements, dental roots,orthopedicobsession, and stents.The metallic bone plates have certain complications like metal inappropriateness, corrosion, charisma effect, anode-cathode rejoinders, as well as a decrease in bone mass, increase in bone permeability. also,these plates, made of stainless steel or titanium alloys, tend to shield stress broadcast at the fracture site and interruption the bone healing degree. Therefore, composite materials for bone plates with progressive strength and stiffness and more semblance to natural bone had started to develop. This study examinesboundaries of metallic implants and the probability of acceptingprogressive composite materials to overawed stress shielding effectsto match more carefully to the bone.

Authors | : | Sunil S Patil || Deepak S Patil || Rohit P Patil |
Abstract:Heat pipes are heat transfer devices that enhances large amount of heat which works on the principle of evaporation and condensation of a working fluid. Inspite of wide application of heat pipe in microelectronics cooling system the trend of the chips performance and power utilization has been increased each year and a complete understanding of mechanism has not yet been completed even though it has the ability to operate against gravity and a greater maximum heat transport capability. This article gives you a detailed literature review about the various parameters that affect the operational characteristics of circular heat pipe. Moreover the thermal resistance and heat transfer capability are affected by the choice of working fluid, the tilt angle, the fill ratio, thermal properties and heat input.

Title | : | Numerical And Experimental Investigation of Effect of Dimples on Heat Transfer By Using Multi Air Jet Impingement On Pin Fin Heat Sink |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Mr. Sunil N. Tapase || Prof. Pravin Borade |
Abstract:The work reported in this thesis is an attempt to enhance heat transfer in electronic devices with use of impinging multi air jet on pin fin heat sink with dimples. Increased miniaturization, higher power densities, and demands on system performance and reliability in electronic systems have necessitated more aggressive heat removal techniques in the thermal management of electronic components. Although the technology of cooling has greatly advanced, the main cause of malfunction of electronic devices remains overheating. The problem arises due to restriction of space and also due to high heat dissipation rates. To avoid the problem of overheating, work carried out in this thesis is computational and experimental investigation, using multi air jet impingement (3x3 nozzle array), impinging normally on pin fin heat sink(4x4 pin fin array) with dimples (3x3dimple array)...........

Authors | : | Tushar Kumbhar || Dr. S.S.Chavan || Dr.S.M.Shendokar |
Abstract:Recently, there has been a rapid growth in research and innovation in the natural fibre composite (NFC) area. Interest is warranted due to the advantages of these materials compared to others, such as synthetic fibre composites, including low environmental impact and low cost and support their potential across a wide range of applications. Low cost, low density, low energy input and comparable mechanical properties, natural fibres now dominate the automotive, construction and sporting industries. The aim of this review article is to provide a comprehensive review of the foremost appropriate as well as widely used natural fibre reinforced polymer composites (NFPCs) and their applications.
