Title | : | Review Paper On Analysis Of Spur Gear |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | V. A. Gavali || C. P. Satav |
Abstract:The gears while transmitting the power generates high stresses at the mating positions over the teeth as they amend the rate of rotation of machine shaft. The axis of rotation for high speed machinery is the optimal medium for low energy loss and high accuracy. Toothed spur gears are used to transmit the power with high velocity ratio. Various methods are used to find out contact stresses such as Hertz contact stresses, Lewis bending Equation, AGMA Equation. Most of the research work attempted on mathematical contact stress analysis and compared with finite element analysis. In few papers the work was focused on the stress redistribution technique by introducing the stress relieving features in the stressed zone for minimization of stresses in spur gear..

Abstract:The accurate measurement of the gears plays an important role in measuring and checking the gears. The tools currently in use are either time consuming or expensive. In addition, some measurement methods can not be used and this allows accurate measurements of all gear ratios, but significantly reduces the time. The purpose of this document is to use computer vision technology to develop a non-contact and rapid metering system that allows measurement and control of most gear parameters and accuracy. The vision system is created and used to measure measured or controlled gear wheels. The built-in vision device is calibrated with metrics, then verified by measuring two sample strokes and calculating the comparison of parameters with the actual values of the fishing parameters. For small gears, greater accuracy and small differences can be achieved. The objective of this paper to study the existing methods for checking the gear profile measerment.

Abstract:This chair is based on Ergonomics principle. The science of design of equipment is to reduce operator fatigue,discomfort and injury. This helps the caregiver avoid heavy lifting situations that put their back at risk of injury. The device can be converted into a chair and the wheels of the device provide mobility like a wheel-chair . It is very aptly called the 'Mechanical assistance chair' because of what is does and even though it was originally created with able-bodied mechanics in mind (who get down on their backs a lot; hoping to save them pain down the line).With the flick of a switch, this machine goes from "sitting mode" to "creeper mode".

Abstract:In various welding processes hazardous fumes and gases are generated and these fumes are circulates around the workplace. It affects on the health of worker. Occupational data from England and wales for 1970 to 1972 report there were 66 deaths among welders compared to 42 expected deaths. Hence in conventional system filters are separately provided from the welding booth through ducting. Due to that it requires more space, ducting and running cost .In modern industry space occupation is one of the most important consideration .So we are going to modify and design this system by removing ducting, in compact size and improving efficiency. Hence by eliminating ducting power required to run blower will be reduce.

Abstract: Gears are important element in a variety of industrial appliccations such as machine tool and gear boxes . An unexpected failure of gear may cause significant economic losses. For that reason fault diagonosis in gears has been the subject of intensive research vibration signal analysis has been widely used in the fault detction of rotaion machineary. The vibration signal of gear box carries the signature of the fault in gears and early fault detction of gear box is possible by analyzing the vibration signals using different signal processing techniques. Review is made of some current vibration analysis techniques used for condition monitoring in gear fault. Each unit of mechanical equipment has a different signature in the frequency spectrum. The vibration spectrum shows the areas of stress and undue energy.............

Abstract: Solar energy is renewable source of energy which can be used for many applications like power generation, water heating, and cooling. The hard part is capturing the sunlight. Air compressor, sometimes referred to as gas compressors, are devices of tools that reduce volume of gas thus creating pressure and heat in the gas being compressed. Most common application of this technology is the common or garden air compressor that you might have used at home for inflating tyres or using with a spray painting tool.

Abstract:The vortex tube or Ranque–Hilsch vortex tube is a simple device used in industry for generation of cold and hot air streams from a single compressed air supply. This simple device is very efficient in separation of air streams of different temperatures and has been the focus of investigation since the tube's discovery. Different explanations for the phenomenon of the energy separation have been proposed, however there has not been a consensus in the hypothesis. The purpose of this paper is to present a critical review of current explanations on the working concept of a vortex tube. Although many experimental and numerical studies on the vortex tubes have been made, the physical behaviour of the flow is not fully understood due to its complexity and the lack of consistency in the experimental findings..............
