Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Pranit A. Dhole || M. A. Kumbhalkar || Gajanan V. Jadhav || Akshay S. Dalwai |
Abstract:Hybrid electric vehicles are future for automobile industry. Among all other technologies modern HEVs are most promising technology. Deterioration of air quality and decrease in petroleum resources are becoming major threats to human beings. In order to reduce consumption of non-renewable resources, combination of multiple energy resources is imperative in 21st century. HEVs are driven by intelligent combination of ICE propulsion system and electric propulsion system. Modern HEVs are highly efficient due to use of efficiency improving technologies such as regenerative breaking and reduce idle emission by shutting down ICE when not needed. The descriptive aspect of this paper is to review the HEVs their advantages, classification, power management strategies as well. The methodology used in this paper is descriptive library and analytical.

Title | : | A Review On Concentrated Solar Power Plants |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Shubham Jadhav |
Abstract:Regarding energy storage concentrated solar power plants (CSP) are gaining interest as Parabolic Trough Collectors (PTC) or Solar Tower Collectors (STC). In INDIA electricity generated by CSP is increasing with high rate in every year. On cloudy days CSP's having short term variations and also at night they can't provide energy and hence Thermal Energy Storage (TES) or Backup System (BS) is used to operate continuously. For optimum design and operation of CSP throughout year, an accurate estimation of solar irradiation is needed as well as defining the required TES or BS. INDIA has solar radiation of 1700 – 1900 kWh per kilowatt peak with more than 300 clear sky days therefore INDIA has higher potential for solar electricity generation per watt setup, The paper reviews CSP technology and design, PTC design, STC advantages, adopted model approach and equations.

Title | : | Air Car used for future transportation |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Yash Shah || Mrunalini Shinde |
Abstract:The latest trend in the automotive industry is to develop light weight vehicles. Light utility vehicles are becoming very popular means of independent transportation for short distance. Today the heavy vehicles are run on basically petrol & diesel, which producing a large amount of harmful gases like CO2,SO2 etc. which act as the major source of global warming. The cost and pollution with petrol & diesel vehicles is very high manufacturers to develop vehicles is very high manufactures to develop vehicles fueled by alternative energies. One of the alternatives is the use of compressed air to generate power to run an automobile. Due to the unique and environmental friendly properties like compressed air for storing energy is a method that is not only efficient and clean, but also economical. So air is considered as one of the future fuels which will run the vehicles. This paper provides an overview of air power vehicles in brief and advantage and disadvantage of the compressed air technology. And assure the compressed air is the alternative fuel for the vehicles.

Abstract:The Electromagnetic brakes are new technology of automobile industry, used in automobile vehicle or at industry level. In electromagnetic braking system energy is converted into electrical energy, which can be used further so the brake must be strong enough to stop the rotation of the component within minimum time possible. The electromagnetic braking system is advanced system which can fulfill the need of small as well as heavy systems. In this project the advantage of using the electromagnetic braking system in industrial use is studied.

Title | : | Review on Optimization of process parameter in square shaped components in deep drawing process |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Yogesh S. Khairnar || Dhiraj Deshmukh || Kranti Dhembre || Ganesh Sawant || Amol Bhosale |
Abstract:Deep drawing is one of the most importing processes for forming a sheet metal parts. It is widely used for mass production of good strength and light weight part in automobile and aerospace industries. Optimization of process parameters in sheet metal forming is the important task to reduced manufacturing cost per year. In this review paper importance is given to gather the recent research work and the effect of process parameter on the sheet metal component .There are many process parameters like that blank holding force, die
radius, friction, punch speed, and other factors that affect on product quality produced by deep drawing process. In square shape of component major failures are occurs due to stress concentration at the square shape sharp edges of die and punch. Therefore is important to optimize the process parameters to avoid stress concentration. For the ooptimization several tools have been used by researcher like ANOVA, FEA, Taguchi etc. In this review paper major focus is to review for square shape deep drawing component..
