Title | : | Abrasive Flow Machining: An Area Seeking for Improvement |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Rajendra Baraiya || Vivek Jain || Dheeraj Gupta |
Abstract: Abrasive Flow Machining (AFM) was developed as a method to deburr, polish, and chamfer very hard to reach surfaces like perplexed geometries and edges by flowing abrasive loaded viscoelastic polymer over them. Abrasion occurs wherever the medium passes through the highly restrictive passage. Process input parameters such as extrusion pressure, number of cycles, grit composition and type, tooling......

Title | : | Experimental Study of Water Hammer Pressure in a Commercial Pipe |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Ashish Kumar Patel |
Abstract: Water hammer is a phenomenon caused by change in flow velocity and valve closing/opening time. It is undesirable. It causes because pressure transient in the pipe, vibration and noise. Excessive pressure causes pipe fracture by rupture. A review of literature has shown that earlier researchers concentrated more on the analysis of water hammer by method of characteristic while comparative study of method of water hammer analysis is insufficient.........

Abstract: Now-a-days, we are in high need for using natural resources like fuel, coal etc., and we have to face harsh consequences for the increasing demand. So, from this it is clear that present pace to consumption of energy, especially oil, cannot be sustained longer time in future. Again, this play negative role in global warming. Therefore, under these conditions it is much needed to make a new exploration of some other natural resource of energy and power. So one of this effective source is "Solar Energy"...........

Title | : | Optimization of process parameters for surface roughness of Inconel 625 in Wire EDM by using Taguchi method |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Pradeep Kumar Karsh || Hari Singh |
Abstract: WEDM is the widely adopted non convectional machining process which is mainly used for machining very hard and tough material like super alloys. Application of WEDM is mostly found in aerospace, die making etc. industries due to high accuracy and precision work. Inconel is mainly a super alloy which is mixture of nickel and chromium, which is very high melting point and strength. Due to these properties Inconel is mainly machined by WEDM. In this paper attempt was made to optimize the different process parameters.....
