ABSTRACT: Silica is widely used in industry, agriculture, medicine and many other fields due to its wide range of raw materials and excellent properties. The main industrial production methods for silica in China today are precipitation, vapour phase and dissociation. In the production of silica by precipitation and dissociation, drying is an essential part of the process, and the design of a reasonable silica drying method is essential to improve the production efficiency and economic effectiveness of silica
Key words: Silica; Industrial production ;Secondary dryin

ABSTRACT: The static pressure damage test was carried out on the main corn varieties Zhengdan 985 and Xianyu 335 in the Huang-Huai-Hai area using a universal tension-compression testing machine controlled by a computer, and the static pressure rupture time of the belly, top and side surfaces of the corn kernels was measured. The mechanical properties of corn kernels were analyzed, and the effects of different varieties, moisture content, and pressure-applied parts on the static pressure damage characteristics of corn kernels were analyzed. The test results showed that the moisture content and the compression position had a significant impact on the static pressure damage characteristics of corn kernels. The test results are of great significance for further research on the mechanical properties and damage mechanism of corn kernels and the design of new corn threshers.

ABSTRACT: Background: The Alabio duck (Anas platyrhynchos Borneo) is one of the natural genetic resources that has the potential to be a superior type of laying duck in South Kalimantan. The purpose of the study was to examine egg production, duck feed conversion, and the physical quality of Alabio duck eggs at different ages during the production period of the first egg-laying period. Materials and Methods: The research was conducted at the Poultry Breeding Center (BPTU) in Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan. The materials used in this study were 5 flocks of female Alabio ducks (each with about 500 heads of ducks per flock) with different ages: 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, and 18 months.........

ABSTRACT: This research aims The purpose of this research is to determine the level of business profitability adenium ornamental plants in Samarinda City and business feasibility of adenium ornamental plants in Samarinda City seen from profitability. This research was carried out for 2 months starting from September to October 2021, with a research location in Samarinda City. Methods of data collection were carried out using primary and secondary data. Primary through questionnaires with respondents while secondary data using references in the form of related agencies and other literature. Sampling method, sampling in this study using the Purposive Sampling method (purposive sampling) which can be interpreted as sampling on purpose, namely the researcher took three ornamental plant entrepreneurs in Samarinda City. This is because the three entrepreneurs have knowledge about the cultivation of adenium ornamental plants

ABSTRACT: The effects of sugarcane intercropping on weed dry matter, profitability, sugar quality and sugarcane productivity were investigated at Badeggi, Nigeria in 2016 and 2017. The results revealed that application of Sugarcane + Groundnut intercropping produced lower weed dry matter comparable to Sugarcane + Soybean intercropping which significantly increased growth and yield attributes of sugarcane. Application of Sugarcane + Groundnut intercropping, resulted in a comparable germination count, Tiller count, plant and stalk height to Soybean intercropping. Similarly, Sugarcane + Groundnut intercropping and Soybean intercropping produced comparable stalk height and brix content. Also, Sugarcane + Groundnut intercropping generated more millable canes and stools per plot. Application of Sugarcane + Groundnut intercropping proved equally effective as Soybean intercropping.....

ABSTRACT: This study aims to valorise cashew oilcake in broiler feeds and to reduce poultry production costs. To this end,
cashew meal was used as a substitute for soybean meal in five (5) feed rations; F0 (with 0% cashew meal and
100% soybean meal); F100 (with 100% cashew meal and 0% soybean meal); F75 (with 75% cashew meal and
25% soybean meal); F50 (with 50% cashew meal and 50% soybean meal); F25 (with 25% cashew meal and75% soybean meal). Five (5) batches of 60 chicks (Cobb 500) of 5 days of age were fed these 5 diets (F0, F100, F75, F50 and F25) for 6 weeks. The growth performance (live weight, average daily gain, individual feed intake
and feed conversion ratio) of the broilers was evaluated. The results obtained show that the zootechnical
performance of the broilers, especially the live weight of lot F25 (2162.8 g), presented the best live weight
during the six (6) week trial. Subsequently, the average daily gains (ADG) obtained for each batch (F0, F100,
F75, F50 and F25) were not significantly.......
