Abstract: Background: Dengue virus is the most prevalent affecting2.5 billion people worldwide& India having half of them[1,2].Still nodefinitive cureavailable; so vector control is the principle strategy to fight against vector borne diseases which we can achieve with Geographic Information System. GIS application provides a graphical representation of the vectors population, their habitats, and the distance from human habitat to potential breeding grounds[3].
