Abstract: Celiac disease (CD) is an autoimmune disorder triggered by the ingestion of gluten, in genetically predisposed patients. The association with other autoimmune diseases is frequent, which makes it necessary to systematically search for them. Our study had for objective to evaluate the prevalence of these autoimmune diseases in CD adult patients, insisting on the importance of systematic screening given their frequent asymptomatic character.
