Abstract: Trans-scaphoid lunate dislocation is a rare and severe form of wrist injury typically resulting from high-energy trauma. Delayed diagnosis and inappropriate treatment can lead to chronic pain, instability, and long-term functional impairment. We report a rare case of a 27-year-old male with a trans-scaphoid lunate dislocation, presenting two months post-injury with persistent wrist pain. The patient had initially received osteopathic care without relief. He was successfully managed with open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) using Kirschner wires (K-wires). This case highlights the importance of timely diagnosis and surgical management in such injuries.

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the relationship between smoking and lung cancer incidence among individuals aged 16–25 in Nuh, Haryana. Methods: We designed a 5-year prospective cohort following 5,000 adolescents (16–19 years), tracking smoking habits and lung cancer diagnosis by age 25. Smoking prevalence was estimated from Nuh Haryana adolescent surveys. Lung cancer incidence and relative risk (RR) were modelled using existing Indian risk data........

Abstract: Background: The craniovertebral junction (CVJ) is a transitional anatomical zone vulnerable to anomalies like basilar invagination and atlantoaxial dislocation. Preoperative morphometric evaluation plays a critical role in surgical planning. Objective: To analyze morphometric parameters in CVJ anomalies and assess their relevance in surgical management. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 12 patients (7 males, 5 females; mean age 26 years) treated surgically between August 2023 and July 2024 at a tertiary center. Preoperative and postoperative CT/MRI scans were used to measure clivus length, basal angle, atlanto-dental interval, and other morphometric........

Abstract: Background: Dimensional fidelity in complete dentures is vital for successful prosthodontic rehabilitation. Shifts in tooth position during processing can compromise fit and occlusion. Objective: This laboratory-based study aimed to evaluate the influence of three investing agents (plaster, stone, and a 1:1 stone-plaster blend), two flask configurations (two-piece and three-piece), and two polymerization schedules (short and long) on tooth displacement during denture processing.........

Abstract: Background: Implant dentistry has emerged as a pivotal prosthetic solution for the replacement of missing teeth, in response to growing patient expectations for functional efficiency and aesthetic excellence. With increasing patient expectations for long term replacement fixed solution for missing natural teeth, the field has witnessed significant advancements. While implantology addresses a longstanding clinical need, it also presents potential complications if not meticulously planned. These complications often stem from insufficient bone volume or inadequate soft tissue contours around the implant site, directly impacting both the functional stability and the aesthetic integration of the implant........

Abstract: Vaginal laxity is a common condition in women over 40, resulting from factors such as aging, hormonal changes, pregnancy, and childbirth, directly impacting women's quality of life and self-esteem. In recent years, intimate aesthetics has gained prominence by offering safe and effective treatments with a minimally invasive approach and the use of technologies that enhance results with similar effects to surgical procedures. Among these resources, microfocused ultrasound (HIFU – High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) has established itself as a promising technology for improving vaginal laxity, promoting neocollagenesis, reorganization of collagen fibers, and improving tissue firmness. Consequently, it prevents and treats urinary incontinence, increases lubrication, and enhances sexual pleasure.........

Abstract: Lipedema is a chronic and progressive disorder, a primary lipotrophy characterized by abnormal fat deposition, primarily in the buttocks and legs bilaterally. It is symmetrical and disproportionate. It is estimated to affect 10 to 18% of women in Europe and approximately 12.3% of the Brazilian female population.
Cytobiological studies suggest that the disorder arises primarily through alterations in the initial stages of cellular differentiation in adipogenesis. Gene expression of leptin and PPAR-gamma increases due to dysregulation of key signaling networks, including Bub1, leading to increased adipocyte proliferation and an alteration in mRNA.........

Abstract: Background: Osteochondroma is the most common benign bone tumor, predominantly affecting the metaphyseal region of long bones. Clavicular involvement is rare, especially at the distal (lateral) end, and even more unusual in adult females. Case Presentation: We report a case of a 27-year-old female who presented with a painless, gradually enlarging swelling over her right shoulder. Clinical examination and imaging revealed a solitary bony outgrowth from the distal end of the left clavicle.........

Abstract: Background: Spinal anaesthesia is a preferred technique for lower limb surgeries due to its rapid onset, dense neural blockade, and avoidance of airway instrumentation. However, in patients with significant systemic disease (ASA III/IV), the sympathetic blockade associated with spinal anaesthesia may precipitate profound hypotension and cardiovascular instability. Hyperbaric Bupivacaine, commonly used for Spinal anaesthesia, tends to spread more extensively under gravity, increasing the risk of higher block levels and haemodynamic compromise in high-risk patients. Hypobaric Bupivacaine, being less dense than cerebrospinal fluid, allows for more controlled and restricted spread of the block, potentially reducing sympathetic blockade and providing greater haemodynamic stability.........
