Abstract: Gender is one of the basic categories in our social life. Popenoe (1983: 170) states "gender is the social and psychological trait associated with masculinity and femininity, whereas sex is the biological trait of males and females‟. In short, as a biological trait, "sex is constant for all members of population‟ (Popenoe, 1983: 170). Then, in broad sense, gender is socially and culturally determined so it is subject to variation. Talking about gender, it automatically corresponds to male and female. The distinction between male and female is a universally organized principle in social life. As adults, men and women typically assume distinctive gender-linked roles as husbands or.....

Abstract: International linkages, capital movements, and trade relations unleash enormous growth opportunities for poor countries: such opportunities include larger and deepened trade openings, managerial and production innovations, tourism, carbon credits, improved access to information and communication technology, amongst others. But Sub Saharan African (SSA) countries generally face unfavourable initial conditions: inequitable trade relations, price volatility, heavy external indebtedness, oil market shocks, and capital flight; and their capacity to deal with these challenges is hampered by weak competitive competence, low absorptive capacity, poor planning and policy implementation, and non-compatibility with changing global realities. This paper examines how challenges posed by the aforementioned external factors, and the internal incapacities, affect growth and development......

Such attributions and self-efficacy beliefs may work in both positive and negative ways. This paper is intended for practicing teachers as well as for the future teachers. Abstract: Shrimp is an important export commodity in Bangladesh. The districts in which shrimp cultivation occurred are Bagerhat, Khulna and Satkhira in Khulna Division and Cox's Bazar, Chittagong and Noakhali in Chittagong Division. Out of our total quantity of shrimp exported from the country during 2001 (42000 tonnes), the share of Bagda was 25000 tonnes (58%) and Golda 12000 tonnes (28%). Other varieties like Harina amounted to 6000 tonnes (15%) (Source: Banks' Report). Bangladesh accounts for only 2.5% of the total world export of shrimp. But in prospective of Bangladesh, Shrimp is the second most important export, employing 840,000 people.......

Abstract: The tribal population in the State of Andhra Pradesh, and in the country as a whole, is the most deprived and vulnerable community that faces severe economic exclusion. Although certain constitutional safeguards are provided, no significant economic, social and political mobility has taken place across this community. Contrary to Scheduled Castes and other Backward Castes who witnessed certain degrees of progress because of protective discrimination policies of the government, the Scheduled Tribes remain abysmally backward and socially excluded, still living in harsh...

Abstract: Ralph Waldo Emerson, an American poet of the last century, warned Americans against imitation. In his classic work "Self-Reliance," Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "Imitation is suicide." It might not be out of place to remember the good things said about India copying China's economic policies. In India, China is known for its imitations. We always have a poor opinion of China and its innovation. Chinese goods in the Indian market have a low rating. A "China bazaar," in the Indian sense, a " China bazaar" is where cheap goods are sold. But India has failed to imitate China as far as the global market is concerned. Now the world is wondering why India failed to copy China. The failure of the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) experiment raises many questions about the social and political economies.....

Title | : | Metric Dimensions in the Fuzzy Cartesian Product Of Two Fuzzy Graphs |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Dr. Rajpal Singh |
: | 10.9790/0837-01017988 |
Abstract: Let G = (V, E, μ) be a fuzzy graph. Let M˜ be a subset of V . M˜ is said to be a fuzzy metric basis of G if for every pair of vertices x, y ∈ V − M˜ there exists a vertex w ∈ M˜ such that d˜(w, x) 6= d˜(w, y ) . The number of elements in M˜ is called the fuzzy metric dimension (FMD) of G and is denoted by β˜(G). In this article, we will find the exact values of the fuzzy metric dimension of the fuzzy Cartesian product of two fuzzy paths, the fuzzy metric dimension of the fuzzy Cartesian product of a fuzzy path and a fuzzy cycle, and the fuzzy metric dimension of the fuzzy. Cartesian product of two fuzzy cycles........

Abstract: This paper explores the evolution of education from traditional classroom settings to community engagement and experiential learning as essential tools for addressing contemporary societal challenges. Drawing inspiration from the philosophies of Mahatma Gandhi and Benjamin Franklin, it emphasizes the need for education to encompass social, moral, and spiritual dimensions. Through community engagement, students gain a deeper understanding of societal issues and develop essential life skills beyond theoretical knowledge. The integration of work education, experiential learning, and service learning into the curriculum fosters values such as respect, responsibility, and cooperation. Experiential learning, traced back to ancient times and popularized by educational theorists like John Dewey and David A. Kolb, emphasizes.......

Abstract: Arundhati Roy's The God of Small Things is a complex and richly layered novel that delves into various social, political, and personal themes, making it one of the most influential works of contemporary Indian literature. This paper explores the major themes in the novel, such as caste, forbidden love, family dynamics, the impact of colonialism, and the interplay of social and political power structures. Through a close examination of these themes, the study highlights how Roy uses intricate narrative techniques, vivid symbolism, and non-linear storytelling to......
