ABSTRACT: Background: Globally, hepatic diseases are known to cause morbidity and mortality. Liver disease accounts for approximately 2 million deaths per year worldwide. In recent years, Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has been identified as the most prevalent chronic liver disease in developed nations.
