Abstract: Different methods are used for the heat energy desired to be obtained from large-scale furnaces used in industry. Our study includes the analysis of petroleum coke and natural gas data used in the firing of large-scale rotary kilns. After firing, the temperature must rise to 1800 0C in order to sinter the material in the kiln. Therefore, two fuel type hybrids are used for the desired energy. Rotary kilns are fired with natural gas fuel since it is easier to control. Then, petroleum coke is used to increase the temperature and perform the sintering process. Rotary kilns can have certain lengths according to the material to be sintered. After this process, the waste heat goes to the boiler.....
