Abstract: Background: Palliative care is a broader concept of supportive care used for patients and their families with end-stage diseases who are unresponsive to medical treatment. Purpose: to assess the attitude and knowledge of critical care nurses toward palliative care. Methods: This study used a descriptive approach. A convenience sampling of nurses working in general and obstetric intensive care units in the selected setting. The minimal sample size to conduct the study was 50 nurses.
