Abstract: Ten isolates of aerobic endospore- forming moderately halophilic bacteria were isolated fromsaline habitat at the west coastal region near Jeddah. All isolates that were Gram positive, catalase positive andshowing different colony morphology and shapes were studied. They were mesophilic, neutralophilic, with temperature range 20-40°C and pH range 7-9. The isolates were separating into two distinct groups facultative anaerobic strictly aerobic.............
