Abstract: Iron-deficiency anemia (IDA) is a significant public health concern among pregnant women in low- and middle-income countries, such as Nigeria, leading to severe maternal and fetal health risks. This mini-review underscores the role of nutrition education in lowering anemia rates in pregnant women, emphasizing its efficacy and the factors affecting its success. Nutrition education, focusing on dietary practices and iron supplementation, has proven to be an effective strategy in combating anemia. Studies indicate that continuous and comprehensive nutrition education programs result in significant reductions in anemia prevalence among pregnant women......
