Abstract: Sulphate modified bimetallic Cu-Co MOF was explored for the valorization of glycerol to solketal at ambient conditions. Co MOF on modification by incorporating Cu to synthesize bimetallic Cu-Co MOF proved to be advantageous in exhibiting enhanced activity towards the formation of solketal due to the increase in Lewis acid sites on the surface of the catalyst.
