ABSTRACT: Solid-state reaction route method was adopted and analytically grade reagents were used for the perovskite SrCoO3 sample preparation. The structural phase was determined by X-ray diffractometer. The average particle size was found to be 25.7 nm. The infrared spectra of the material were recorded and analysed by FTIR spectroscopy which indicated the presence of fingerprint region of perovskite ABO3 type structure. Multiphase of the polycrystalline ceramic were found.
