Abstract: Profitability and survival of banks is key to economic growth, the health of most industries relies on the availability of finance provided by the banks within the economy to facilitate transaction. It is on this premise that this research is carried on to determine how profitability in the banking industry affect economic growth in Nigeria. The study adopted survey design using ex-post facto. Abstract:In our globalization era economic situations are increasingly intense to majorities of manufacturing companies need to consider with manufacturing flexibility via real option. In this paper we illustrated different types of option pricing papers and real option papers related to flexibility manufacturing in order to present which types are considered and which way to use. Furthermore, we also show real option papers to flexibility manufacturing system types according to the Sethi and Sethi's framework. Abstract: Thisarticle puts light on the socio-economic changes came to the lives of the local inhabitants with the establishment of a manufacturing giant like NALCO.Thestudies found that majority of the people are changing their lifestyle. Further as an interface the study establishes a close relationship between community and industry. This article has developed the research design based on a review of the available literature. It describes objectives, methodology, scope of the study.A profile of Kanyabeda village, Findings and analysis are core analytical chapter of the study. The socio-economic loss of gain of Kanyabeda village due to the operations of NALCO are analyzed here. It summarizes the conclusions and offer suggestions.
