Abstract: Background: Organizations may use knowledge management to enhance core skills and improve organizational performance. A large amount of research has looked into the relationship between competency and knowledge management (KM). Theories and models have been established, but for an organization to be competent, it must rely on its employees and trust them to share their knowledge. Individuals' willingness to share their expertise is facilitated by organizational learning, organizational cultures, and leaders behaviors.
