Title | : | Providing High Security and Recovering Good Quality Image using Visual Cryptographic Technique |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Prasanna Kumar H R || Niranjan N Chiplunkar |
Abstract: Security is an important factor, since many digital images are transmitted through internet, which contains secret information. Symmetric and Asymmetric methods are two types of cryptographic techniques used to encrypt and decrypt the confidential data. Conventional encryption technique is one of the methods used to transmit secret image which has a drawback of maintaining the secret key. Image splitting is another technique used, in which secret image is divided into different share images. Individual share does not reveal any information about the secret..........

Title | : | Image Multi-Classification using PHOW Features |
Country | : | Egypt |
Authors | : | Shereen A. Hussein || HowidaYoussryAbd El Naby || Aliaa A. A. Youssif |
Abstract: Automatic labeling and classification of a vast number of images is a huge challenge, so machines are used as a part of image classification and annotation is turned into a prerequisite to adapt to the high improvement of advanced digital image innovations consistently. Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) is an image descriptor for image-based matching and recognition; this descriptor is used for computer vision purposes like point-matching between different views and object recognition in the same view. SIFT features are regarded as an efficient way for image classification due to its usefulness demonstration under real-world conditions. Also, representing these features in bag-of-words (BOW) model and spatial pyramid model adds the ability to distinguish spatial distribution to the former.

Title | : | Friend Recommendation System for Social Networks |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Anuja Shahane || Prof. Rucha Galgali |
Abstract: The current social networking services suggests friends based on the respective individual's network. This may not be the perfect way to recommend friends to respective user as friend suggestion should be more over focused on the real life friend selection style. In this paper, we present Friend Recommendation system for social networks, which recommends friends to users based on their life styles instead of social graphs. In Friend Recommendation system we discovers life styles of users from user-centric data, measures the similarity of life styles between users, and recommends friends to users if their life styles have high similarity. Inspired by text mining, we model a user's daily life as life documents..........

Authors | : | Song Feng Lu || Husein S Naji Alwerfali |
Abstract: With the Internet and data growth increasing trends, big data is becoming an extremely important and challenging problem for Data Centers. Many platforms and frameworks are working to bring a cutting edge technology to this problem. Apache Hadoop is a software framework addressing the big-data processing and storing on clusters, providing reliability, scala-bility and distributed computing. Hadoop has a distributed file system to store vast amount of data in distributed environments, and uses Map reduce algorithm to perform the computations and process large amount of data, by parallelizing the workload and storage. In comparison to other relational database systems, Hadoop works well with unstructured data. Our work is focused on performance evaluation of benchmarks of Hadoop, which are crucial for testing the infrastructure of the clusters..........

Abstract: Taking the advantages of the capabilities offered by cloud computing requires either an application to be built especially for it, or for existing application to migrated to it. The main focus on migrate the application data with speedily and accurately. Migrating data to the cloud creates a series of technical, architectural and legal challenges which resolved by using following algorithms. Organize such efforts into a set of migration schemes and connect them with a list of reusable solution for application data migration in form of packets. At last, define an application data migration methodology and demonstrate how it can be used in practice.

Abstract: In preparing the schedule of course not an easy job. There are several aspects that influence in the preparation of schedules of courses that professors, students, courses, lecture rooms, and a time slot. Each of these aspects has a state that can be a problem and a conflict in scheduling courses. For example, the problems facing aspect lecturers are lecturers conflict is a lecturer teaches courses scheduled at two different locations at a time. Or from the aspect of students, the problem is the number of classes per generation. In addition to these problems, there are many more potential problems that can arise from each of these aspects. A decision support system needed a model settlement of the problems encountered...........

Abstract: The application of genetic algorithms for optimal cutting panes of glass and the profiles for joinery work is introduced. A combined GA is used as a probabilistic approach in the search of quasi-optimal solutions. The performed research show that the usage of these algorithms significantly reduces the unutilized material, the cutting time is decreased and also that there is a significant economic effect. The usage of described system will contribute for decreasing of the price, materials and time for design of joinery work
