Abstract: Inspired by the theory of 'Sandpile Model', the concept of 'Self-Organized Criticality' is transferred to this paper. Aiming at the realization of explosive burst synchronization, from two aspects: some continuously (and randomly) distributed neurons are excited by equal-amplitude currents (can be called excitation mode 1, 2 respectively) and the influence of network scale, the occurrence conditions, change characteristics and effect factors of the explosive burst synchronization under Newman-Watts (NW) small world neural network based on Hindmarsh-Rose (HR).......

This problem belongs to a combinatorial optimization problem known as the "two dimensional bin packing problem," which is typically used to arrange flat objects with differen t shapes to minimize the filled space. Identification of regulatory motifs is critical for understanding the gene expression. The essential concept in gene expression is that each a gene encodes the instructions for making a protein. Abstract: The natural hunting strategy of crocodiles has inspired the development of a novel population-based optimization algorithm known as the Crocodile Optimization Algorithm (COA). Crocodiles in the wild exhibit two distinct roles when hunting for fish: chasers and ambushers. Chasers use their powerful tail splashes to drive prey towards shallow waters without immediately catching them, while ambushers patiently wait in the shallows to swiftly snatch their prey. This intriguing natural behavior has served as a foundation for the COA algorithm. To assess the performance and effectiveness of the COA algorithm, it has been applied to various scenarios, including classical benchmark functions and four constrained engineering design optimization problems. These benchmark functions are commonly used to evaluate the efficiency and robustness of optimization algorithms.

Abstract: Advancements in healthcare techniques have increased lethal diseases, particularly heart-related issues, which have become leading causes of disability and premature death. Coronary heart disease, affecting the heart, blood vessels, and circulation, has become a global concern. Despite efforts to develop effective diagnostic and preventive methods, its complexity remains a challenge. Single classification-based data mining systems are insufficient, leading to ongoing research for better methods.
