Abstract: This study evaluated the effect of ethanol leaf extract of a postpartum medicinal plant, Combretum racemosum (Uboli) on some biochemical parameters on lactating female albino rats. The experimental animals (20 lactating female Rats and 5 non-lactating female rats) of weight between 130g – 184g were grouped into five groups. Group 1 (non-lactating female rats) were fed with normal Rat feed (normal control), Group 2 (lactating rats) fed with normal rats feed, group 3 (lactating rats) fed with normal rat feed +1000mg/kg of the extract, Group 4 (lactating rats....

Abstract: A simple bone cyst (SBC), also referred to as an idiopathic bone cavity, is a non-neoplastic, intraosseous pseudocyst characterized by the absence of an epithelial lining. While it predominantly affects long bones, its presence in the jaw especially the mandible is relatively uncommon. SBCs are most frequently observed in adolescents – second decade of life and are typically discovered incidentally on routine radiographic imaging due to their asymptomatic nature. Radiographically, they present as well-defined, unilocular radiolucent areas with scalloped borders........

Abstract: Instrument separation is among the most frequently encountered complications in endodontic therapy, often impacting the prognosis and long-term success of root canal treatment. The presence of a fractured instrument within the canal hinders adequate cleaning, shaping, and irrigation of the root canal system, particularly in segments apical to the obstruction. When attempts to bypass the retained fragment are unsuccessful, mechanical retrieval is advocated to re-establish canal patency. This case report details the clinical application of three distinct techniques for the retrieval of separated instruments within the root canal

Abstract: Background: Persistent root canal infections, especially those caused by Enterococcus faecalis, pose a significant challenge in endodontic therapy. Traditional medicaments like calcium hydroxide (CH) have shown limited efficacy against resistant strains. Recently, iron oxide nanoparticles (IONPs) have emerged as promising antimicrobial agents. Aim: This study aimed to compare the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of IONPs......
