Abstract: This paper is about automating the irrigation process in agriculture field. This is achieved by using smart system based on NodeMCU, Moisture sensor, Humidity sensor. The NodeMCU is a microcontroller unit with an inbuilt Wi-Fi communication module. The Moisture sensor collects the moisture level from the soil and sends the data to the NodeMCU similarly the humidity sensor also collects the humidity level of the atmosphere and sends the data to the NodeMCU Once the NodeMCU) receives all the data, depending on the data it has received and the inbuilt data it sends a pulse to the relay module which in-turn switches on the pump. This way the process of manual irrigation is eliminated and helps the farmers to concentrate their workforce on other major areas.

Abstract: The main objective of intelligent bike system is to develop a protection system in a helmet for the safety of the bike rider. The features of this helmet include detection of helmet, alcohol detection, accident detection and identification, location tracking. Various sensors are implemented on the helmet as well on the bike system. Even though there has been continuous awareness from the government authorities regarding helmet and majority of the riders do not follow them. In order to resolve this situation, we have developed the intelligent bike system for two wheelers, a way to stop starting of vehicles without wearing helmet. Additionally, it has a great feature of detecting accidents....

Abstract: Signal strength levels from Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC) television (Channel 45) and Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) channel 12 have been measured with a view to establishing the primary, secondary and fringe service areas of these signals at some locations in Eastern Obolo and Ikot Abasi Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State. Eastern Obolo and Ikot Abasi are densely forest zones that empty into the creeks that lead to the Atlantic Ocean in Akwa Ibom State. Propagation of electromagnetic waves in these areas has been quite challenging. CATV was used to measure signals of the TV station in dB, dBμv and dBmv. Signals received from this TV station at different locations of the study area using Radio Frequency Analyser with 24 channels spectrum ranging from 46-870MHz and an outdoor television antenna, 59(L) x 8.5(W) x 11(H) on....

Abstract: High-tech innovations flitting around the scientific manipulation of the electron, have tremendously influenced the Information and Entertainment industry. One of these major beneficiaries is the Broadcast industry. Television viewing hubs play major role because of its audio visual content. Audio signal quality can deteriorate without much impact on the received signal. However, visual signals are highly sensitive to fluctuations, and therefore, easily noticed to the discomfort of the viewer. This research study carried out measurements and analyses of signal strength levels from two propagating television stations (UHF and VHF): Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC), and Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). This was with a view to finding out whether signal attenuation has effect on the reception of VHF/UHF in Oron from television broadcasting stations. It was also aimed at establishing the primary, secondary and fringe service areas of these signals at different strategic.....

Abstract: Broadband on power line technology is one that implements the existing power line network as a medium for the deployment of broadband data. Hence, broadband over powerline has the potential of meeting the demand of broadband for various applications because of the ubiquitous nature of the power line network, which is its medium. But as potent as the technology is, signals propagated along the powerline suffers so much impediment. The network introduces both impulsive and awgn noise and attenuates the signal severely. Implementing selective cooperative relaying with equal power allocation has been deployed on broadband over power line, it achieved some level of performance improvement. The two transmission links, direct and cooperative, were allocated equal.....

Abstract: In this paper, without assuming the boundedness, monotonicity and differentiability of the activation
functions, we present new conditions ensuring existence, uniqueness, and global asymptotical stability of the
equilibrium point of bidirectional associative memory neural networks with fuzzy logic and time delays. The
results are applicable to both symmetric and nonsymmetric interconnection matrices, and all continuous nonmonotonic
neuron activation functions. Since the criterion is independent of the delays and simplifies the
calculation, it is easy to test the conditions of the criterion in practice. An example is given to demonstrate the
feasibility of the criterion......

Abstract: This paper presents an effective method in panoramic image creation. Here an automatic method of feature detection and feature mating using SIFT (Scale Invariant feature transform) algorithm has been used. SIFT algorithm is very robust method that can detect and describe local features in the image. Then find the overlapping area of these two images. A minimal cost path in the overlapping area of two images is found by dynamic programming method. This minimal-cost path (optimal seam) is used to stitch images. Dynamic programming is faster than other seam finding methods and uses little memory. The overlapping images are cut along the seam and merge together. Here there are seven steps used in image stitching which include: input image, feature detection, feature matching, image registration, computing homography using RANSAC, image warping, and finally image labeling using optimal seam......
