Abstract: Resumo: O estudo buscou analisar a relação entre os acidentes no trabalho e estresse ocupacional entre profissionais da saúde de uma clínica médica de um município brasileiro. A metodologia constituiu na aplicação de uma pesquisa exploratória, descritiva e de abordagem qualitativa com treze profissionais da clínica. Como instrumento de pesquisa, foram realizadas entrevistas em profundidade, sendo os dados analisados por meio da técnica da análise de conteúdo. O estudo revelou a prevalência e complexidade do estresse entre profissionais de saúde, destacando a sobrecarga de trabalho como elemento central na geração desse estresse. Abstract: Endovascular implantable cardiac devices (DCIE) are devices that can monitor, stimulate or regulate the heart rhythm, prevent or treat arrhythmias, heart failure or sudden death. They include pacemakers, defibrillators, resynchronizers, and ventricular assistants. These devices are implanted through catheters inserted into veins or arteries, without the need for open surgery. CIEDs offer significant clinical benefits for patients, but they also present technical challenges, complications and high costs. The development and evaluation of DCIE involve aspects of engineering, physiology, pharmacology, epidemiology and health economics.
