Abstract: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is one of the most prevalent chronic diseases worldwide and has a major impact on global morbidity and mortality, mainly due to its strong association with coronary artery disease (CAD). Persistent hyperglycemia, insulin resistance, and lipid abnormalities accelerate the atherosclerotic process and significantly increase cardiovascular risk, especially among older adults. Objective: To analyze the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus and coronary artery disease in the elderly, identifying the main risk factors and preventive measures capable of improving quality of life.....

Abstract: Cet article analyse la vulnérabilité alimentaire dans une région sahélienne du Mali affectée par la double pression des crises sécuritaires et climatiques. L’objectif général de l’étude est de chercher à savoir comment les facteurs socioéconomiques, environnementaux ou sécuritaires influencent sur la sécurité alimentaire. L’étude cherche également à connaitre les stratégies d’adaptation des populations pour lutter contre l’insécurité alimentaire. À partir d’une approche méthodologique mixte combinant des enquêtes quantitatives auprès des ménages et des entretiens qualitatifs, l’étude identifie les principaux facteurs de vulnérabilité, évalue les stratégies d’adaptation et met en évidence l’effet cumulatif des chocs.....

Abstract: Cultural and social values, beliefs, and traditional thought processes significantly shape cognitive patterns. Likewise, the Ao Naga, as an indigenous community, constrains their cultural interpretation of mental health due to inadequate knowledge and comprehension.
