|Title||:||Does Mobile Internet Addiction Affect Learning Achievement?|
|Authors||:||Chuan-Chun Wu || Ching-Kuo Pu|
ABSTRACT: Today, the use of the Internet, especially mobile Internet, has become increasingly popular. With no restriction to using desktops, people can now easily gain access to the Internet and play online games with mobile phones or Wi-Fi tablets whenever and wherever they want. In light of this phenomenon, this study aimed to investigate the correlation between personality traits and mobile Internet addiction. The subjects were 16–18-year-old senior high school students who often used mobile Internet. The results of the study suggest that the duration of mobile Internet use is relevant to mobile Internet addiction............

ABSTRACT: In the world of commercialization, shopping has seen a lot of evolution from small shops to mall to ecommerce giants. The ecommerce sector is evolving at a high pace, but it can nowhere be seen replacing the traditional shopping at malls for groceries or any products of daily use. So the proposed system aims at improving the traditional shopping experience. In the traditional shopping customers need to carry the basket/cart and pickup products and carry it around and checkout. But now proposed system aims to replace heavy basket/cart with smartphones. Smartphones come with a prebuilt NFC (Near Field Communication) reader/writer. These readers can read NFC tags.............

ABSTRACT: The Android University Management System is an android app which is useful for students as well as the university faculty member and other academic staff. A paper based system all the works are done manually. Paper based work is so time consuming. The main objective behind the use of University Management System is easy supervision of the Institute. .Through our application students can search their results using Android mobile. All information is stored in the university server. The faculty member is authorized to log into University Management System database backend through administrator user id and password and update the student result..............

ABSTRACT: Since the Boko-haram insurgency, in 2009 armed conflicts have become the order of the day in North-eastern Nigeria leading to a high number of civilian and sometimes military casualties. For a while the whereabouts and tactics of fighting back the insurgency eluded the Nigerian military mainly because the insurgent are locals with a good knowledge of the terrain. Thus, making it easier to make forays on motorized vehicles and still elude capture. For the military to be able to undertake offensive and rescue mission campaigns with fewer military casualty, knowledge of the terrain to which personnel are being deployed is very crucial. Thus, the ability of a field commander to carry out a successful spatial...............

ABSTRACT: Insurgency in Nigeria is becoming an order of day, especially in the north-east and the Niger-Delta due to the presence of Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād or Boko-haram (meaning western education is forbidden) and militants such as the Niger Delta avengers (NDA) or Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) respectively. Although the government is working hard to contain insurgency by sending military troupes to affected areas, there is still a lot to be done especially in the use of spatial terrain analysis for counter terrorism. Thus, this research has utilized the availability of satellite images to extract information of North-east terrain trafficability for strategizing..............

ABSTRACT: Wearable technologies are becoming more and more effective thanks to what they promise. The conversion of these technological developments into the devices which can be used in health industry has ensured a common ground for informatics and health specialists. The study depicted in this article was conducted for the use of wearable health technologies in rehabilitation. The perspectives, attitudes, behaviours and expectations of the participant individuals were researched and it was intended to obtain such findings that could direct new technologies. The focus group method established by six specialist academicians was employed for this study. The findings were reported as written records. A discussion chapter was also included in the article to provide an insight for future studies.

ABSTRACT: Approximately 303,000 maternal deaths occurred globally in 2015, of which 99% occurred in the developing countries1. On an average 239 women die per 100,000 live births every year in developing countries2. Majority portion of this maternal death are seen in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southern Asia1. Thus Maternal mortality ratio continues to be the major index of the widening discrepancy in the level of care and the outcome of reproductive health between the advanced and developing countries3. From 1990 to 2015 Bangladesh has achieved 69.1 percent reduction in maternal mortality ratio but failed to achieve Millennium Development Goal of 75% reduction and in 2015 there were about 176 maternal deaths per 100000 live births2. Causes of maternal mortality include postpartum hemorrhage
