Abstract: Material management plays an important role in construction project management as it derives a major part of the cost and time of the project. Nowadays, ERP systems are rampantly used for various functions in Construction project management. The study aims to assess the efficacy and potency of ERP systems implementation for material management and analysis of cost versus benefit for the same. In this cross-sectional observational study, the researcher has derived data from six construction firms out of which three firms are not using ERP systems (Company A, B, and C) and three companies are using ERP systems (Company D, E, and F). data was collected from interviews of project managers and senior purchase executives.
