Abstract: This paper explores the role of technology in empowering caregivers of individuals with learning disabilities and mental health challenges, particularly in the United States. As these conditions' prevalence rises, caregivers who comprise the immediate family more often, face increasing emotional, social, and financial burdens. Digital tools and assistive technologies, including telehealth platforms, mobile applications, and assistive communication devices, have shown potential to alleviate these pressures by improving communication, supporting behavioral management, and providing access to mental health resources.
