Abstract: Patient safety and quality issues are among the factors that drive emergent changes in the clinical laboratory. Thereby necessitating dynamics in implementation frameworks in order to effectively navigate changes since reliable clinical laboratory systems are rudimentary for accurate diagnostics, public health surveillance and effective clinical decision-making. However, in Nigeria, studies have revealed that clinical laboratory services remain behind global best practices as it is fraught with weak infrastructure, fragmented policies, limited automation, inconsistent quality assurance and change-insensitive frameworks.......
