Abstract: This study investigated the management of student personnel services in tertiary institutions in Nigeria, one research question and one null hypothesis guided the study. A 20-item questionnaire was administered to 1320 respondents, comprising 120 senior administrative staff', and 1200 students drawn from 16 tertiary institutions selected for the study. A student personnel services observation schedule was used for the on-the-spot assessment of the student personnel services that are observable............

Abstract: More youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders are transitioning into a post-secondary environment than ever before. These individuals have been found to be unemployed and under enrolled in school at disproportionately high levels. This problem is compounded by the fact that even when students on the spectrum make it into college, their graduation rates are far lower than those of neurotypical students. Abstract: The relative effectiveness of three methods of teaching and conducting experiment in acid-base titration in practical chemistry was investigated in some selected Nigerian secondary schools. A pre-test, post-test experimental design with a control group was used. A total sample of 123 students within an average age 17 years in SSII & SSIII of four (4) senior secondary schools were randomly selected from Giwa local government area of Kaduna state, Nigeria. Abstract: This paper examines some international declarations that led to the launching of Universal basic Education (UBE) programme in Nigeria. The objectives and scope of UBE are discussed and the situation of basic education before the implementation of UBE. This is done in order to show the huge and substantial resources the UBE programme needs for its success –the resources no single stakeholder can provide. Abstract: This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of learning strategies (The differences between Problem Based Learning and Direct Instruction) and cognitive style on mathematical problems solving learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental research design (nonequivalent control group designs) The research subjects were students from state elementary school of V grade in Gading I Surabaya, east java. The totals of elementary school population in east Surabaya were 141 elementary schools.
