Abstract: Indonesian formal education‟s orientation has been focused on the development of science and technology (hard skills), therefore, it is weak in developing moral and spiritual components (soft skills). This, inevitably, is linked with the multi-dimensional crisis that we experience today – widely assumed as the impact of the economic crisis. As an effort to deal with the crisis, education in Indonesia has been focused to develop science and technology, which are considered as capitals for the economic development. Abstract: The aims of this Research are to reveal determinant factors that affect Teacher Competence. This research measured the direct effect and indirect effect of exogenous variables to endogenous variables. The number of samples is 284 of Public Senior High School teachers taken from 1089 teachers as population. The data were gathered by using a set of questionnaires that had been checked for its validity and reliability. The data then were analyzed by using path analysis model............

Abstract: The main objective of the present investigation was to study the emotional intelligence of upper primary rural students in relation to their gender (Boy-Girl), family type (Nuclear-Joint) and economic class (A.P.L- B.P.L). Sample of 200 rural students of age 14+ years studying in class 8th standard were selected by stratified random sampling method from twenty rural upper primary schools. Bengali version (r=.79, of the Schutte Self Report Emotional Intelligence Test (SSEIT) was used for the study. F- tests, Students' t-tests and Correlation Coefficient were adopted to analyze the data for the study..........

Abstract: A Research was conducted to identify students' misconceptions of class XI Science at SMAN 7 Banjarmasin on reaction rate material. The study aims to determine (1) what are misconceptions experienced by learners, and (2) determine the cause of learners' misconceptions. This study uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive design survey study. The study population were students of class XI Science at SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. The study was conducted with a purposive sampling techniques.
