ABSTRACT: Background: The study was conducted to investigate phytochemical studies and the anthelmintic property of Gerbera gossypina (Royle) Beauverd, locally named as (Patejhhulo), and tested by in vivo and in vitro experiments against gastrointestinal nematodes of sheep from April to November 2022. G. gossypina indicated the content of flavonoids, glycosides, carbohydrates phenolic compounds, alkaloids terpenoid and steroids, while negative for saponins, anthocynin. Materials and Methods: In vivo studies sheep were randomly divided into five treatment groups with six animals in each group and reared in similar environmental.....

ABSTRACT: Pasture evaluation and survey study were conducted in the Tandjilé region of Chad to determine the forage production and carrying capacity of the grazing land and to examine the impact of climate change on the pastoral resources in the area. The pasture evaluation assessed the floristic composition, pastoral productivity and carrying capacity of the rangeland. The survey study involved six focal groups where herders were requested to identify palatable and unpalatable forages, those threatened with extinction and others that appeared and disappeared in the area. The pasture evaluation identified 51 plants species belonging to 19 families with a soil cover of 82.33%......

ABSTRACT: In large scale broiler farms, broilers get sick or even die every day due to infection with pathogens, which must be treated to prevent huge loss. But monitoring such large scale broiler cages can result in high labor cost. Fortunately, computer v ision technology has the potential to do the job. However, the current image recognition models for broiler chicken still has challenging problems that need to be tackled, such as the complexity of scenes, the sticky and obscured targets of the broilers. T his study proposes a YOLOv5 based model for behavior recognition and health monitoring of intensively farmed broilers. The results showed that the MAP (Mean......
