Abstract: The rise in cases of infections resulting from the bacteria has created the need for more investigation to be done. In addition,conditions from the bacteria are common in critically ill patients and those immune-compromised individuals; thus, it isprimarily an opportunistic pathogen. Patients at risk can also be given antibiotics for prophylaxis to prevent them fromcontracting the infection. For those patients who have infections from pseudomonas aeruginosa, frequent assessment shouldbe done to note the progress of the diseases and determine the effectiveness of the drugs; this will also help detect resistancetothedrug..
