The designation of the officer was known as Rohiyal Baruah. Apart from these Pratap Singha created some more posts like Jagiyal Gohain, Kajalimukhiya Gohain in the neighbouring area. Abstract: Video surveillance technologies are establishing their niche in maintaining law and order in India. The use of CCTV surveillance systems is increasing day by day. Fears of terrorism and the availability of ever-cheaper cameras have accelerated the trend even more. Our research study aims to explore.............

Abstract: Labour out- migration among the Santal labourers has been taking place since pre independence period. The Santal tribals lived in the district of Santal Parganas which was a part of Bihar then, which got separated in 2001 and now in Jharkhand. Since the emergence of Jharkhand more than 15 years have passed but economic condition among the Santal tribe has hardly improved. The region is gripped under poverty, illiteracy and under development, which mars the picture from every human development index. This grim situation compels the Santal tribals and other tribal labourers to migrate to other destinations for employment and survival. The present paper is a deeper study about the migration among the Santal tribe. The paper aims to know the causes of migration, impact of migration and also to know the difficulties faced by the Santal migrant labourers.

Abstract: This paper is an analysis of the perspective of Seyyed Hossein Nasr as it concerns the place of the intellect, revelation, reason in human affairs. It also dwells on the cogito of Rene Descartes in modern philosophical reasoning and how it shaped the understanding of reason, intellect and revelation in modern western thought. Using the analytical method, the paper examines his view concerning the use of reason in modern philosophical thought. He decries the idea of holding reason as the only authority in human affairs and knowledge. He condemns the relegation of revelation to dogma and superstition and the interpretation of intellect as reason. He posits that.........

Abstract: Gender socialization or gendering occupy a very crucial role in the identity formation of an individual. The study attempts to identify the intergenerational differences or similarities of the gendered socialization patterns experienced by women of different generations including daughters, mothers and grandmothers, who were selected through the multi stage random sampling method. In depth studies on the three........

Abstract: As the twenty-sixth century of Buddhism is passing to its half way, a great deal has been said and written about sīla as taught by the Buddha, and quite properly so; for the Buddha himself had much to say about sīla, and many of his discourses that have been handed down to us through twenty-five centuries are concerned primarily with sīla. And yet in all this discussion about proper and improper conduct one subject is almost totally ignored by monks and laity alike: the Buddha‟s advice on the use, by monks, of money. There seem to be three general reasons for this. First, the subject is often supposed to be vastly complex and of a nature that lends itself to various.........

It particularly looks at the literature relating to the triad interrelated human security threats of arms trafficking, drug trafficking and trafficking in persons (TIP) and ECOWAS efforts in addressing them.
