Abstract: Thermalelectricalgeneration power plant isoneofthemajor power generation plant methodsusedinNigeria to generate electricity both locally and internationally. But dueto inconsistency, failure and low power supply in Nigeria, there is a call for a proper operation and maintenancestrategyofthevariouskindsofpowerplantsaccessoriessoastofacilitatetheir efficiencies, sustainability andfunctionality.Calabarthermal powerstation,whichisoneofthemajorpowergeneratingstationsinNigeria was used as a case study.
