Abstract: Background Frontline health care workers (HCWs) are among the most vulnerable groups at risk of mental health problems in battling COVID-19 pandemic. In terms of mental health impact of epidemics, HCWs represent a particularly vulnerable group due to the high risk of infection, increased work stress and fear of spreading the infection to their families.
