Abstract: Computed tomography (CT) of the head is a frequently performed diagnostic procedure involving the use of ionizing radiation. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the dose received by patients undergoing cranial CT examinations in a State in Southern Nigeria using the values of CTDIvol and DLP obtained from the CT scanner.
