Abstract: Background: This review aimed to assess patient satisfaction with post-hemorrhoidectomy pain management and compare the effectiveness of stapled hemorrhoidopexy and conventional Milligan Morgan procedure in treating hemorrhoids and associated pain management factors among elective surgical patients. A systematic search of English-language literature published between November 2016 and November 2022 was conducted using major biomedical databases.
