A convenience sampling technique was used to recruit one hundred seventy six (176) women with type II diabetes those were randomly divided into two equal groups. Data collected through three tools: 1st tool PRECEDE model questionnaire, 2nd tool Female Sexual Function Index and 3rd tool ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale. Results: the study showed no statistical significant difference between control and intervention group regarding marital satisfaction and total score of female sexual function at base line assessment (p=0.317, p=0.945 respectively).............

Abstract: Despite the Glasgow Coma Scale is widely used in Egypt as in other countries in the world to assess the level of patient consciousness, it has been noted that there is a lack of interest in the use of neurological assessments by nurses. The present study aimed to effect of theoretical and practical educational intervention on nurses' professionals' compliance. A quasi experimental design was used. Setting: the study was conducted at the Neurological Intensive care Unit, stroke ICU and neurosurgical ICU at Ain Shams University Hospitals Cairo, Egypt. A purposive sample consisted of (37) nurses. Two tools used to collect data. (1) Structured self-administer questionnaire sheet: It will divided into three parts: a) characteristics of the studied sample; b) to evaluate nurses' knowledge concerning GCS (pre and post educational program and c) Indicator of theoretical and practical educational intervention success...........

Abstract: Hospital is a place of almighty, a place to serve the patient. Since beginning, the hospitals are known for the treatment of sick persons but we are unaware about the adverse effects of the garbage and filth generated by them on human body and environment. Now it is a well established fact that there are many adverse and harmful effects to the environment including human beings which are caused by the "Hospital waste" generated during the patient care. Health personnel should serve as a spring board to renewed activities for the health and happiness of humanity. Nurses are thus the challenge to assimilate knowledge, attitude and develop critical thinking skills necessary to apply BMW Management knowledge on self protection practices. They can apply self protection and prevention measure in the daily working in hospital. The objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of STP on BMW Management among Nurses working in selected Hospitals of Indore, MP. The research design was...........

Abstract: Alzheimer's disease is an irreversible, progressive brain disease that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills, and eventually even the ability to carry out the simplest tasks. As disease advances, symptoms can include problems with language, disorientation, mood swings, loss of motivation, difficulty to manage self-care and decreased social interaction. Alzheimer's disease will cause a slow decline in memory, thinking and reasoning skills. Gradually, bodily functions are lost, ultimately leading to death. Symptoms of Alzheimer's will appear usually after the age of 60. The normal aging process occurs in every individual's lifespan. Each and every individual is involved in this process and none of one can escape from it. When the individual reaches to old age they will be so vulnerable to the changes............

Randomization of the subjects was done in two equal groups, group A (n=10) and group B (n=10). Group A received vibration training programme (resistance training and direct vibration), 3 sessions per week for five weeks, while group B received resistance training programme, 3 sessions per week for five weeks. Direct vibration stimulus was given using BeurerTM vibrator of 50 Hz and resistance training was set basis daily adjusted progressive resistive exercise protocol.Muscle strength, as one repetition maximum...........

Initial management of constipation is recommended through a combination of fluid intake, diet, physical activity and toileting regimen after identifying an individual at risk for constipation. Aim of the current study was to evaluate the impact of performing bowel educational guidelines on preventing constipation among bed ridden patients. Design A quasi-experimental research design was utilized in the current study to achieve the aim of the study. Subjects: Fifty bed ridden patients divided alternatively and randomly into two equal groups, 25 patients for each group. Tools of the study: Three tools were used based on extensive review of literature; structure interview questionnaire, Physical examination of abdomen, and Constipation Scoring System. Abstract: Telenursing refers to the use of telecommunications and information technology to provide nursing care at a distance, which may help solve increasing shortages of nurses, reduce both travel distance and time, and keep patients out of the hospital. It is especially useful for diabetes patients who have problems of far distance to the health care clinics or need a long time waiting for visiting a doctor. Aim of the study: To determine the effect of tele-nursing (phone-based follow-ups) on self-efficacy, healthy lifestyle, and glycemic control in type 2 diabetic patients. Design: A quasi - experimental design was adopted. Setting: The study was conducted at medical department and endocrinology outpatient clinic of Menoufia University Hospitals. Sample: One hundred patents with type 2 diabetes were enrolled in the study and randomly divided into two groups of experiment and control based on random numbers table. The experimental group received telephone counseling and follow-up intervention for 12 weeks by the researcher and the follow-ups included instructions on self-care and advices to follow their diets, exercise, and insulin titration..............

Abstract: Dysmenorrhea, experienced by about 64.25% of Indonesian women, is a common gynecological disorder that can be disruptive at school, work, or home. It is caused by several factors, one of which is the increase in the production of prostaglandins. For the treatment of dysmenorrhea various methods have been suggested such as acupressure and sacral plexus massage. For this reason, this study sought to obtain the evidence of the effectiveness of acupressure in reducing dysmenorrhea pain. By employing the experimental design using pretest and posttest with control group, students of SMA (Senior High School) Pahlawan Jember afflicted with dysmenorrhea were purposively selected as samples. The data were garnered from questionnaire asking the respondents to determine the intensity of their pain using NRS (Numerik Rating Scale). The samples were divided into four groups of five respondents each.............

Abstract: Postpartum infection and hemorrhage are the leading causes of maternal death in Indonesia. One of the causes is skin lacerations or birth canal tissue (10%). A study by Agnes (2009) found out that (57.8%) postpartum women suffered failed episiotomy stitches due to poor wound care. One method of conventional wound care is to apply Aloe vera compress. The objective of the study was to analyze the effectiveness of Aloe vera compress on the wound healing time (trials in mice). This research used Quasi experimental design involving 15 mice as the samples which were divided into 3 groups. The first group was the control group, the second group received Povidone Iodine compress............
