Abstract: The prevalence of asthma and associated morbidity, mortality and related hospital readmission rates are high; therefore, self-care behaviors and self-efficacy represent critical issues in improving the quality of life (QOL) in asthmatic patients. Purpose: This study was developed to investigate the outcome of selfmanagement training on health-related QoL and self-efficacy in patients with asthma. Methods: A total of 40

Abstract: The present study has been undertaken to assess stress-related problems among geriatric men and women in a rural area in Hassan district. The tool for the study was structured questionnaire which consists of two parts-PART- I consisted questions related to Socio-demographic data, PART-II consisted of structured questionnaire to assess the stress-related problems among geriatric men and women. The data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The most significant finding was that 100% of women and 86.6% of men in the study belongs to the age group between 64 and 73 years. Majority of the subjects belongs to joint family 63.3% of men and 80% of women whereas 86.7% of women and 96.7% of men were married. In fact, 43.3% of women and 23.4% of men were having mild to moderate levels of anxiety and only 6.7% of men with mild stress, 6.6% of women with moderate..................

Abstract: Nursing work includes many factors that effects nursing workload and client outcomes.These factors include nursing condition of the client, the characteristics of the care providers, the medical condition of the client, the work environment and the nursing interventions. The key component to measure nursing resource intensity is known as a nursing workload measurement system. The nursing workload measurement system use currentlyis just provide information about the mechanism to track the time it takes to deliver various activities in the department or program which is mandatory and ignoring the nursing and medical complexity of client, the work environment and the characteristics of nurses providing care. Abstract: Diabetes is a serious health problem that of prevalence and incidence are gradually increasing and that affects quality of life. Diabetes leads to microvascular complications such as nephropathy, retinopathy, and neuropathy as well as macrovascular complications such as coronary artery diseases, peripheral artery disease, and stroke (http://clinical.diabetesjournals.org/content/26/2/77.full).Diabetic foot ulcer resulted by the combination of neuropathy, micro- and macroangiopathy, caused by diabetes, is one of the common complications. 49% of diabetic patients were found to have a high risk of diabetic foot ulcer (Wu et al. 2015). Diabetic foot ulcer is an important complication that can result in loss of movement, physical-emotional stress, amputation and mortality and that affects the quality of life.................

Abstract: This study was aimed to assess association of cesarean delivery with occurrence of placenta previa. Design: Cross section design was utilized. Setting: The study was carried out at high risk unit at Mansoura University Hospital. Subjects: A purposive sample carried out for 139 pregnant women who were selected according to the inclusion criteria. Tool: Structured Interviewing Schedule. Results: The incidence of placenta previa among pregnant women with history of previous cesarean delivery was 100.00%. More than half of studied women had previous history of three and more cesarean delivery. There were high statistically significant relation between number of previous cesarean delivery and types of placenta previa(P=<0.001). There were statistically significant relation between number of previous cesarean delivery and abnormal placental adhesion( P=0.028). conclusion: The study............

Abstract: Background: Despite the development of effective antiemetic drugs, nausea, vomiting and retching remain the main side effects of chemotherapy. Acupressure is a noninvasive type of massage therapy that may affect pain, stress, nausea, vomiting, promote wellness and treat disease.
